The West Star Yacht Staycation on the water

The West Star is a 60' motor yacht located in a quiet southern San Diego marina. WE ARE AN AT DOCK STAY ONLY. We have 3 levels for relaxation and fun. Wifi, fully equipped galley, Smart t.v.s, 2 staterooms, 1 bunk room, 2 bathrooms, 3 viewing decks, 2 kayaks. Boater's lounge, restaurant, gym, bikes, pool, hot tub, putting green are all available for use at the marina. This is for an "at dock only" stay meaning the boat is not available for cruising at this time.

Stay on a yacht!
We had a wonderfully peaceful stay on the West Star in the San Diego area. The accommodations were exactly as expected. Well cared for and appropriately appointed. The marina itself was lovely. Just such a pleasant environment to spend a peaceful stay. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They made it so easy and efficient. We would definitely do it all over again. If you’ve never stayed on or spent any time on a yacht, this is a unique opportunity. Well worth it. Highly recommended!!!

Takes your breath away
This is round two for us. We loved it so much the first time, we had to come back. You never know what expect but this place does just check ALL the boxes, it exceeds ALL expectations. It s easy to give this a perfect rating. We are already looking for a next trip. It’d you are looking at something unique in the San Diego area, look no further. This is it! The communication with the hosts was nothing short of amazing and the stillness of staying on a boat is truly priceless. Going to sleep and waking up on the water is an experience like no other. This place is truly a one of a kind find.

Me and my two adult children stayed on the West Star Yacht and had a great time. The yacht itself is very clean and well stocked with everything you need and the amenities at the dock were easy to access and we had an awesome time! We look forward to doing it again in the future.

The yacht itself was absolutely stunning, with spacious cabins that provided the perfect blend of comfort and style. And let's not forget about the views from the deck! It was like having our own private oasis on the water. But what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional hospitality of the host. They were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. From recommending the best local spots to ensuring our needs were met, they truly made us feel like VIP guests. It's rare to find such genuine warmth and care in a host, and it made our stay even more memorable. The amenities on the yacht were top-notch. We had access to all the modern conveniences we could ask for, from a fully-equipped kitchen to a cozy living area. It was like having a home away from home, but with the added bonus of being surrounded by the beauty of the ocean. Overall, I can't recommend this VRBO yacht rental enough. If you’re looking for a different and unique Vrbo stay, this is the one! The distribution was spot on! Elizabeth met us at the marine and showed us all the amenities the marina offers and there are many! Walked us through the yacht explaining everything. This place checked all the boxes, plus! Unique experience
We had a truly relaxing time, the area is very peaceful and quiet. The Weststar is clean and spacious and the beds are super comfortable. We enjoyed the top deck for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Didn’t stay long enough to explore the whole marina but there’s plenty to do. Would love to stay again sometime.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the yacht. Everything was 100% positive. We loved everything about the yacht, the marina was beautiful, and the overall setup was perfect. The beds were comfy, the yacht was super clean, all the living areas were great, the kitchen was extremely functional, the bedroom/bathroom combinations worked out well for our group of 4, and the five unique levels of the yacht made it a unique experience. Elizabeth and Tim were always available when we had a question. And, they are super nice people. We love our VRBO rentals, and especially when the owners are high quality people like Elizabeth and Tim. A unique renting experience we will always cherish and remember. Without question, an enthusiastic five-star review!! This yacht is a big time winner. You will not be disappointed.

2nd, but not last, visit!
Second time meeting friends on the West Star! It was great revisiting the yacht, and knowing what we did and didn’t need. We brought plenty of food and drink, and our cars stayed parked all weekend. This time, we did use the kayaks to roam around the marina, and we rented jet skis right at the marina for a very exciting hour! Tim and Elizabeth were great hosts again, and I could see us making this an annual stay.
