A few meters from the greenway Ojos Negros and only 40 minutes drive from Valencia and its beaches, is El Campillo, a large country house in Navajas (Castellón), surrounded by natural parks and washed by the Palancia river. This is an old farmhouse renovated by architect Eva Vila Verdú, keeping the architectural style that designed its founder, Uncle Campillo, in the last century. The house retains its essence and is equipped with all amenities. Its 4 double rooms, 3 doubles, 1 single room and attic can accommodate up to 18 people. It has 2 living-dining rooms, library, 4 bathrooms and kitchen. Has all the amenities (wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, TV, DVD, stereo ...) integrated with its rural origin (Arabic tiles, wooden beams, high ceilings ...). It has been totally isolated from the cold mountain and has underfloor heating and fireplace. The thick walls keep it cool in summer.

The immense garden and orchard of El Campillo, of almost 3,000 m2, host fruit and ornamental trees (orange trees, palm trees, olive trees, persimmons), swings, deckchairs, barbecue, Moorish oven, and in summer you can enjoy a fresh salt water pool (salt chlorination system). A place for rest can leave to spend time in good company, but always providing a corner for privacy.

It is a 10 minute walk to the Salto de la Novia, an impressive natural landscape full of waterfalls and bathing in the river Palancia. It is surrounded by mountains and natural parks ideal for hiking, horseback riding or canoeing.

What can be done?

- Hiking: Ojos Negros greenway; natural parks of Sierra Espadán and Sierra Calderona.

- Skiing: The ski Javalambre and Valdelinares Teruel are about 90 km.

- Riding: There is a riding school in Navajas.

- Go to the beach: The coast is about 40 km.

We provide all the utensils (cutlery, tablecloths, glasses, coffee makers), the kitchen is fully equipped (2 fridges, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker) and, in addition, we provide bed linen and shower towels for 18 people.

On the day of entry, a deposit of € 400 is given in cash, which is returned on departure after checking that there has been no damage.

Fin de semana estupendo en El Campillo
Hemos pasado un fin de semana estupendo en la casa El Campillo. La casa es tal y como se muestra en el anuncio, amplia, acogedora y con mucho espacio. Fuimos 10 adultos, 7 niños y una bebé y todo el mundo estuvo muy bien en la casa. Además el patio para que jugaran los niños fue fantástico. Paco estuvo muy atento ante cualquier cosa que pudieramos necesitar. Muchas gracias por todo!

Estancia agradable pero con un inconveniente
Paco el dueño ha sido muy amable, la casa es una pasada, todo limpio, las habitaciones muy buenas y las instalaciones una maravilla, el único inconveniente que conviene saber antes de reservar es que la casa está en un barrio residencial por lo que hay vecinos en todas partes. Estos vecinos no toleran el ruido aunque no sea muy alto y amenazan lanzando papeles y llamando al timbre con llamar a la policía. Por tanto si vas a pasar unas vacaciones relajadas es una casa perfecta cerca además del salto de la novia que es una maravilla de entorno, pero debes tener en cuenta que si pones algo de música aunque no sea muy alta los vecinos van a protestar y esto hace que estés algo incómodo. Por lo demás no tenemos queja, hemos estado muy agusto.

40 años en el Campillo 🍾🍾
Casa muy bonita y bien decorada. Muy acojedora y practica para una estancia en grupo. El jardin es inmenso, la piscina grande y comoda. La barbacoa es pefecta para una torrada de chef ! La ubicación es lo mejor: a dos min de la entrada al Salto de la Novia. Un oasis de paz y naturaleza. Un 10 !
