We absolutely LOVED our stay here. Elenisia was so friendly and helpful. She remembered our names and is just a lovely person! Our room was very comfortable and we were able to sit in the bar area to have a picnic and play cards. Definitely will stay there again! Oh and the buffet breakfast was delicious!

Excellently located property just one block from the Rede Expresso bus terminal and walking distance everywhere, this made it easy to arrive and depart on public transportation, the beach and promenade with restaurants and shopping are only a few block away. Staff was very friendly, room was spacious and very well illuminated. We totally recommend the Villamar.

Great stop
Great stopover on our return to Lisbon, nice location juat out of the action and short walk to the beach. Hotel is clean and owner is onsite and attentive. Provided a map of nearby dining recommendations that was helpful as there are many places. Easy to park in the lot and solid breakfast. Bar and pool are nice, but too cold to use the day we were there.

The Villamar Style Maison Hotel is a nice, clean and safe hotel that is just a couple of blocks from the beach and seaside promenade of Nazare. The rooms are spacious and clean. It has parking on its facility, which was a plus as we had a car. The reception staff gentleman was very nice and attentive. The breakfast was good. There are many restaurants and shops along the beach front promenade and one can easily walk back to the hotel after you come down the funicular from the top of Nazare and have a nice dinner in one of the restaurants, which range from pizza restaurants to fine dinning restaurants.

Beautiful villa with the most lovely proprietor. She was so helpful to ensure we had a great visit. Beautiful pool and surrounding, though we did not use the pool. Whoever has rated this a four star hotel clearly has never actually stayed at a four star hotel. More like a two star property that bears little resemblance to the advertised photos. Both mattresses were stained with black spots along the seams and two live bugs were found crawling on the same mattresses. We were in and out in five minutes. The hotel’s response to the mattress issue, looks good to them and felt the need to tell us our room is a “10/10” room. The operator believes running a hotel and hospitality involves taking peoples money and little else. Further, if you believe booking with Expedia provides you with any consumer protection, you would be incorrect. Despite telling us that “Expedia was with us,” they kindly offered us a coupon for less than a McDonald’s happy meal for two. Needless to say this property is not recommended.
