Is a very good hotel, personal there is very friendly, and the lady that clean my room (I think she is from Venezuela) delightfull person talks to you with a smile and good attitude. The only con of this place is that if you don’t have an account with them they charge you $5 for the little bottles of water that are in your room.

Me and my wife like to stay at Hyatt Place, and we've probably stayed with them in 6 or 7 cities over the last 4 or 5 years. This one was pretty disapointing for a few reasons, I gave iit 3 stars mostly for the location and the staff. The lobby, the restaurant and the room are pretty old and need some rehab. There were creaking doors and sofa in our room. The room also lacked a safe while most of their other locations we've been to had safes. The breakfast was also disapointing, as it was served on paper plates witth plastic utensils. This was the first location we've been to that didn't offer real plates and utensils. Also the potatoes were unreconizable if it weren't for the sign in front of them, and they ran out of bacon am hour before the end of the service. Other than that, the staff was helpful and the location was convenient for walking to many of the tourist areas.

The property was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. Did not like that there was no microwave in the room. The only microwave that they had for guests was located downstairs by the service desk. The free breakfast buffet was great. When booking this hotel Expedia had me put down a deposit. At least they said that they did. The hotel had no record of any deposit. So there was some kind of mix up there . I had to frantically try to review my banking info. Couldn’t find it. A pretty upsetting ordeal. But the hotel itself was nice.

Spent 2 nights. Very walkable to places of interest downtown. Nice free breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Personally bed was a hard. And hvac seemed to run constantly.

Great location to stay when you visit Chicago
Very good stay for the price. The hotel is located right in the hustle bustle of River north with plenty of food options around. The hotel is located adjacent to a restaurant which is good spot and you can have drinks from there have them in hotel lobby. Good breakfast
