The property itself was ok. The location was great with beautiful views. Jennifer at the front desk was a lovely lady and very helpful and friendly. Having access to Legends on the beach was a nice idea, but the shuttle service was not well organized as people are not courteous so those who came last would just butt in leaving those who were early to wait for next shuttle. A number system might do well for this. House keeping was pretty much non existing. Our floor wasn’t swept properly the entire 4 days we were there as flower petals left on bed that had fallen to floor first day were still there our last day. Each day between our two rooms, we’d have to go retrieve towels as the ones we hung were taken but not replaced. Would I stay here again or recommend? Only if it had an amazing deal, but there are so many others, so likely not. Suggestion also would be to have some evening entertainment and possibly keep bar open past 10:00. There was a Jamaican band one night and it was great to listen to!

Sam Sara is a beautiful location. Very reasonable prices. The rooms are nice especially the newer part of resort. It's not the cleanest of rooms.overal I love staying there have been going there for years and will continue to.

Ok, fair for the price

Economics quick weekend to escape a cold front. The best way to describe this resort is OK. I would stay here again for the price. Pools and ocean were great…. Drinks and food… not so much. Grounds clean. Plenty of chairs. If you are going to the sun and ocean you will be fine. If you are looking for luxury- keep searching. The grounds are pretty and well taken care of.

Old outdated, back packer style resort. I read they did a 3m dollar renovation. I don't think so needs to be painted and towels where old dingy and some torn. No face cloth despite my asking. Had to get floor towels from front desk 3 out of 7 night stay. Food was good view was amazing front desk, and kitchen staff very nice. Housekeeping not so good. Crossing street to get to parking lot very very dangerous. High probability you will get hit by a car if parking attendees where not present 24hrs a day. Would I return no.

Our stay at Samsara Cliff Resort was a mixed experience, with some notable positives but significant drawbacks. The Good: The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning, with spectacular sunsets that are truly memorable. The staff were very nice and accommodating, which added a touch of warmth to our stay, especially Tina. The Not-So-Good: The rooms are really outdated, except for the VUZ building, which is newer and in better condition. There were no beach towels provided, which was inconvenient. There is no bellboy service, meaning we had to carry our luggage ourselves to the second floor. The food options were extremely limited: only one type of salad, fruits were included only at breakfast (a single slice each of papaya, pineapple, and orange per plate), and lunch and dinner typically offered just one type of dessert, usually pound cake. The shuttle service to the Legends Resort beach was always crowded. While multiple trips are made, failing to get on the first shuttle meant no beach chairs would be available. The shuttle schedule (departing Samsara at 10 AM and returning at 4 PM) requires you to spend the entire day at the beach, with no flexibility for shorter visits. Overall: While the views and staff were highlights, the outdated facilities, limited amenities, and restricted services made our stay less comfortable than expected. Samsara Cliff Resort may appeal to those prioritizing scenic beauty, but improvements are needed in accommodations and service offering

The cliffs were very unique and I enjoyed. Beautiful scenery. Very quiet with exception of feral cats running free. Food was just ok. Shuttle to beach was never on time and always full.

I like the property it was a nicely laid out and very scenic. Amazing. Rooms are cottage like and easy to relax. Watch out this resort rooms has great shower pressure. The staff in the restaurant is amazing. Ask for kamika, she brought me a scotch bonnet pepper every morning- very thoughtful. The front desk was courteous and welcoming. Ask for Jennifer. Only thin i would suggest is that you use care if you have to cross the street. Wait for the security let them help you. The traffic is not like Canada's so be very careful - just be patient and wait and dont be embarrassed to ask for help. Love this little hideaway very affordable and more for adults. Enjoy!

Samsara was not great, largely because the website exaggerates the quality. The view & common spaces are beautiful but the rooms are run down and lack basic amenities. Our rooms were moldy, lots of bugs, much room for improvement in terms of basic maintenance and things falling apart. We were given 2 torn, stained towels for 5 people and had to tip extra for a single pool towel. The bedding was the cheapest polyester and likewise torn. Legends, the resort on the beach, was very run down in common spaces—if you’re thinking of staying on the beach, look elsewhere. It was very competitive to get on the beach shuttle because there aren’t enough beach chairs and almost none in the shade; they could invest in more chairs and umbrellas for a greatly improved experience. The food at the hotel was unsurprisingly overpriced and underwhelming, but happily there’s great food in the area. The staff was gracious and kind and we enjoyed our time interacting with them. We liked that every room had a balcony. The pool and cliffs were beautiful. We didn’t try the spa but the location was gorgeous, right on the cliffs. Overall, Samsara would be very improved by the sort of routine maintenance and basic amenities you typically see at hotels at this price point; perhaps they’re trying to grow into the claims on their very impressive website, but they’re falling short now. There are other hotels that are much cleaner with better amenities.

Great place to stay on the cliffs! Water is excellent with nice ladders to climb out after jumping off the cliff. Bar is open at 10 and drinks are very consistent between bar tenders. Tina is an absolute SMASH of a bartender, she's high energy and always has a smile. She's fantastic and really makes this place work! Restaurant is open in 2 hour blocks for breakfast, lunch, and supper. Food is really nice, especially supper. Breakfast is cooked to order, lunch is basic, supper is great! They do not have towels for the pool or laying out areas like most other resorts, so be sure to bring your own. Pretty decent Italian restaurant across the street and a small convenience store down the road with everything you will ever need. We definitely recommend this place!

Great location and spectacular view. We stay at Samsara every time we come to Jamaica and love everything about it. The staff is wonderful and friendly and makes you feel at home.
