Chelsea Park Motor Lodge is in a convenient location to enjoy Nelson. The owners are friendly and helpful and our room was clean, comfortable and decorated tastefully. We especially liked the Fair Trade, environmentally friendly teas, coffees and toiletries supplied.

Great experience at the Chelsea Park Motor Lodge. Dean and Tomoko are great hosts, so friendly. We had a pretty little garden courtyard to sit in complete with three Fantails (Piwakawaka) flying around us. Will definitely stay here again!

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Lovely bed and linens. We had a nice and private patio off our bedroom, which we used and enjoyed. Very walkable distance to many fine and recommended restaurants.

The rooms are good but there is no air conditioning as stated. Apparently there is only one room with air conditioning...and I didn't get that one. The room did get quite hot in the afternoon/evening. Despite having double glazing, the room was still quite noisy from road noise.

Honestly Chelsea park motor lodge has to be one of thee most beautiful places I have been to. Staff are amazing and welcoming, my room was very tidy and comfortable, it’s in the perfect place to be in Nelson as everything you need, want and see is all around and just a short distance away.
