This property has a wonderful view of the balloons. The most comfy beds, beautiful showers and the rooms were beautifully heated after a cool day outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful, spoke good English and had perfect restaurant recommendations

The property was amazing. I got the room with the panorama view of the valleys. You can see the hot air balloons flying by in the morning.

It’s good place overall
The city was very beautiful. The hotel is like a cave and not very pleasant to stay for family in terms of cleanliness but overall it’s okay place. However, I wouldn’t choose to go again. The staff is very very good, they are friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel, great attention. The entrance is a little bit dangerous when it is snowing. When we arrived we felt not everybody would be capable to go down those stairs.

This is a very nice small hotel with delightful rooms and quirky decorations. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, location is great. Only possible drawback is that it is on several levels with steep steps. An elderly member of our party struggled a bit but the staff went out of their way to help

Disappointed in Uchisar
We went to Cappadocia for the long Bayram weekend. The Rox Cappadocia was recommended by friends, so we booked there for two nights. The price was considerably higher than similar looking places, so we expected something special. We were disappointed. Let me say the staff were very nice and helpful, we liked them very much and the breakfast was very good. The room was typical of cave hotels in the area, nothing special. We have been to Cappadocia before and knew what average was. The room was poorly ventilated. We could have used a fan and it was hot. The swamp cooler didn't cool, plus it had blinking lights that challenged sleep. The bedroom closet light switch was poorly installed, so I would have to fix it so the light would stay off at night. There were two small LED-like lights over the bed that couldn't be turned off. Conversely, the room was also poorly lit. We were told that was for a romantic feel. Having at least one bright light would have been nice. The room needed at least one mirror with light for my wife to make sure she looked right. Oh, there was one hanger in the closet when we arrived. The staff did their best to find more. In addition, for the price, one would have expected bathrobes and at least one shower cap. The lounge deck was a nice place and Rox wanted a cool atmosphere, but to succeed, they need to coordinate the music with the hotel that abuts the Rox. Battling music motifs spoiled the outdoor atmosphere. Good wi-fi.

Amazing Cave Hotel
Quirky hotel in a beautiful setting. We had a room looking out over the cliff which was amazing. Similarly, the terrace bar is a great place to watch the balloons in the morning. The room itself was built into the cliff face which was unique though the decor was a bit old, but the bathroom was newly refitted. One complaint is that the walls are very thin. The morning breakfast is huge with tons of different tapas dishes, and the staff were very helpful with advice for the local area.

There was a construction going on next to the hotel so it was very noisy. Also, the room has no air conditioning and not even air circulation is provided in the bathroom. Breakfast was great and the staff was helpful but it's not worth the money you pay for this hotel.

Legitimate Cappadocia cave experience
If you want to actually feel like you're living in one of the caves, you must stay here. It's super close to heaps of the hiking trails and sights. They staff are wonderfully helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are so well decorated and probably the best bed I slept in for my whole trip. Don't look at any other hotels becuase I guarantee this is the best one of the whole town. You can also see the balloons from the roof top!
