A bus load of boys were staying. We were able to move away from them. They played on the elevator. The lady that checked us in, put a stop to their shenanigans. It ended up being a quiet night.

We frequently stay at BW New Albany during football season because of the high price and limited availability in Oxford. The beds and bathrooms are usually very clean. The rest of the room, not so much. It’s getting hit and miss lately. This week, the carpet floor was sticky and disgusting. The fabric chair in the room was stained and disgusting. The AC unit howled like a freight train all night, and the room smelled like mold. The breakfast is never good. I guess you get what you pay for, but we will probably search for somewhere new next season.

We stay at the BW New Albany for Ole Miss football games. The rooms are clean but need updating. The breakfast is not good. The street noise can get bad in rooms facing the HWY - trucks from the Walmart Distribution Center - but, for the price and proximity to Oxford, it allows us to attend every home game without spending a fortune on a place to sleep and shower. Hotels in Oxford are ridiculously expensive during game weekends, and most are booked well-in-advance Sept.-Nov. Stay at BW New Albany, spend the money you save enjoying a weekend in Oxford, but do not speed on HWY 30 between New Albany and Oxford!
