When I got there the bed was half way made, there was no clean towels, dirty towels were in the floor, no extra toilet paper, the bath tub was dirty. and they tried to over charge us. i paid 121 for aug 30-31, then 131 for aug 31- sep 1 and they are still trrying to charge me extra

Absolutely the worst start to a stay at a Hampton Inn ever. The guy who checked me in was the rudest employee I have ever encountered at a Hampton. I booked on Hotels.com and arrived to check in. There were 2 guys checking in when I arrived. The employee finished up with them then walked away without a word (while he was gone, the guys raided the small store area without paying for anything. The employee came back and another young man paid for his snacks. Then I asked to check in and he asked for my ID and form of payment. I told him I had prepaid online and he rolled his eyes. He asked for a card for a deposit and I asked could I just pay a cash deposit because at another hotel, an employee had stolen $300 from my card. I offered up to a $500 cash deposit. He said no, so I handed him my card and he disappeared behind a door for several minutes. When he came back, I asked why he had taken my card to another room for several minutes and told him I was not comfortable with that. He said if I wanted a manager, I could complain in the morning. A couple behind me were incredulous that he was so rude I asked him why he was being so rude to me and he again invited me to complain in the morning to a manager. I will be canceling this card in the morning, as I still don't know why he disappeared with my card. He finally handed me 1 key card and didn't even tell my room number, directions to anything, etc.

In a good area. Check-in process easy, although we had to wait a few minutes for someone to arrive, no other issues. Room was clean and comfortable. Fairly quiet, but for a Saturday night do expect some staying at a hotel to be noisy but nothing too late so it wasn’t too much of an issue. Check out process easy

The room is fine. However, when we got there, a homeless man was posted up outside the doors for hours. When it turned dark, half of the parking lot lights did not work. There were several people out drinking in front of the building until 2 am. We went to the front desk and asked if they do anything about the security concerns. The staff said it is fine and police are near. The breakfast in the morning included an egg mash casserole. It was undercooked. I have stayed at A LOT of Hamptons. I would NEVER recommend staying here to anyone. It needs to be sold to another company or they need to get their act together.

Judy was as unhelpful and rude as she could have been. The young man (Chris?) was sweet and apologetic, but what I assume was a manager with long fingernails and a ponytail (I didn't get his name) was rude and indifferent to both myself and to Chris and the issues we were bringing to his attention. The room itself was clean and well appropriated. We couldn't use the pool because it was being cleaned at 4:00 in the afternoon (not the end of the world, but weird to clean it at that time of day, right before a storm). The service ruined it for me, but otherwise it was fine.
