I found it "different" that in 2024 not to have a tv in the room. Parking is on the street or 3 blocks away! Went to breakfast at 7:45 - there was none until someone rushed in say someone went home sick (Which I didn't believe) & later it was a 'miss communication'. the danish was cold, the micro didn't work, coffee? Obviousls I made a bad 'where to stay' decision.

Checkin was "ok" - person talking with friends. Really surprised that in 2024 there was no tv. Go to breakfast at 7;45 - none. person came in said someone went home sick - which I do not believe and later mentioned miss communicaion. Parking - another story. Let's just say we won't be returning. I made a poor stay selection.

My third time here and probably the best. The city appears to have finished the sidewalk and street upgrades and looks much better. There are several dining options in the area which is very walkable. There’s plenty of whaling history in this old section of town. The hotel is a converted building but is very clean and not in your modern conventional style of hotel. There’s a bar on the ground floor with several tv’s. They do offer a limited free breakfast of coffee, pastries, cereal, juices, and bagels. This is an improvement that was lacking before. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and accommodating.

Place is in a noisy area. Photos are deceiving. Staff unprofessional. The place is run down, dirty, ripped towels in bathroom. Not worth over the $200 I spent!!! Such a rip off, could not wait to get out of there.

The hotel is in downtown New Bedford, a short walk to the harbor. Our room was pleasant with a high ceiling and large windows. We had service issues with the hotel. Our first room didn't have much toilet paper and no extra roll. The TV was broken. We asked to switch rooms and were sent to an already occupied room. The third room was fine. The hotel bar was closed. I think the hotel had staffing issues the day we were there.

We had a very nice trip to New Bedford and this hotel was in a perfect location to downtown and the ferry to the islands. Hotel was very nice, beds large and soft, clean room. Nice staff even after an error with Expedia, and it all worked out. We recommend NB Harbor Hotel, have a nice stay in a cool city.

This is not a fancy hotel, but it has a cool vibe. The decor is not the usual bland, tan, industrial wallcovering and carpeting. It's clean and quiet, in the middle of a town I quite like: safe, walkable, easy parking. Not a tourist town, though. Shops and restaurants close early.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had adequate amenities. The view was nice from the 4th floor. There were some issues with the keyless entry to the room, but it was corrected both times with grace. Breakfast was standard continental with a microwave and toaster. I would recommend this hotel.

No parking onsite.Street parking in somewhat unsafe areas. Three stays in different rooms with TVs not working. One room had coffee/tea and cups with no machine to make a cup. Calls to front desk unanswered 8pm and when going to front desk staff yelled at me they were eating dinner.

This hotel and New Bedford in general is the perfect spot for a long vacation. Quick walk to the ferry and museums. Close to Providence , Newport the Cape ! The restaurant is affordable and tastey. The staff are all accomodating and extremely pleasant !! - Especially Tiffany at the front desk. I would recommended this hotel 100%

This is a nice property right near the waterfront of New Bedford. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Our room had a great view.
