We stayed here for F1 weekend. It was wonderful. Spacious rooms. Clean, nice bed/bedding. Breakfast was great. Easy to get to. And close to a target and a sporting goods store which were what we needed for our weekend. Will definitely stay there again.

Was planning on staying here 3 months & due to Management error they checked me out due to the fact i am paying weekly & not the full 3 month period . Tammy at Homewood suites in San Marcos has the worst attitude & was not even intending to fix there error .

Homewood at San Marcos/river trip!
Very nice suite w kitchen. Perfect. All clean and comfortable w great ac. We did not have enough towels but were immediately brought more. The beds were great, quiet hallway, friendly staff. Breakfast was better than most breakfast included stays at other hotels, good pool.

We were there for a Texas State game, we checked in on limited time. As soon as we check in, we walked in the room it was unacceptable. There were carpet stains everywhere, the beds were horribly made. My biggest issue was a TV was not working and I have a two year-old and a nine-year-old, There was stains on the wall. The sink was clogged up. I paid $200 for one night definitely not worth it will not be returning to this hotel ever again.
