We really enjoyed the house for the past 2 days. Our only downfall was, we checked out all the places with a hot tub. We were looking forward to that with the cool crisp October air. We were not able to get the temperature to rise or the jets to work. It was disappointing not being able to enjoy it. Other than that, it was a nice living space.

Just a relaxing getaway...no phones, friends, family or kids! Loved being able to walk to the breweries, food and shops. It rained all day on Sunday...your place was perfect for just laying around and doing nothing!

Could be a nice New Buffalo stay
The house had newer appliances and a clean aesthetic. If you are looking for a lot of space, this has a lot of room. There were some issues that caused the stay to be less than ideal: Location: * The residence is on a 50mph highway and is close to the road. You certainly hear the road noise early morning and in the evening. Uncomfortable: * The foam mattress in the back bedroom was extremely uncomfortable and the front bedroom was just a little better. * the dining room chairs are metal with no cushions * The curtains were really sheers and businesses across the road had lights on all night Amenities: * The kitchen had some shortages that made it hard to prepare food - no knives except steak knives, no scissors, only one usable pan (the other was completely rusted) , no baking or cookie sheets, no pot holders. * The hot tub was not cleaned at all, except by me for our use. During the stay, the manager had the tub drained (without us mentioning it) which meant we couldn't use it at all that day and it was too rainy the last day. * To get to the hot tub, you have to exit the side entrance, walk on a gravel path to the fenced in back yard. On return, you have to go to the front door to use the keypad, or else leave the door unlocked, which is not visible from the back yard.

Had a great girls weekend getaway! The home was clean and nicely decorated. We had plenty of space for five ladies. Hot tub was clean and nice and hot! Close to downtown and all the action. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

This property is a cute little house w/ comfortable beds! Some friends and I took a 3 day weekend in the fall to enjoy the leaves and the hot tub. We had some challenges w/ our scheduling - an injury = surgery, death of a MIL, and a child on homecoming court - but were informed that there is not cancellation policy and that rescheduling is considered a cancellation. We'd already put money down so our group shrunk a little and we made the best of it. It was rainy so we didn't get a chance to explore on foot, but the location was close to a lot of ameneties. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well appointed. This place is on the main highway on the edge of town. There is no access to the backyard from the house, you need to go out on the side porch (visable to all the world) and through a gate to get to the hot tub and firepit. The photos of the outdoor space are a little deceiving in that the whole space is about the size of a standard deck. We were going to sit in the hot tub despite the rain, but decided against showing off our entire bodies to the world (couldn't really take robes or towels outside because of the deluge) and opted to stay indoors. There is very little 'soft space' for hanging out and chatting - not super comfy. The shower in the main bathroom was not clean, and the liner was ripped in several spots. There are no towel bars or hooks - we had to get creative. This house sleeps 10, but it's small. Imo, more than 4 adults would be challenging.

Home has been nicely remodeled. Lots of room with the downstairs room and the attic room. It was just two of us so we did not use those portions of the home. Clean. Attractive interior decor, modern. Plentiful towels for bath and beach. Loved the additional throw blankets on the couch and beds. Large fridge. Kitchen items were slightly sparse. Living room is a couch and tv as it is in a narrow room. Home sits on a very busy street and can be loud. No direct access from house to outside sitting area and hot tub. You have to walk out of the house and then into a fenced in area. No overhead light in dining room. Beds on main floor were quite soft. Cute property, good price.

Great Weekend Getaway
The inside of the house was adorable, It was perfect for our family of six. The basement was a great space for all of us to spend time together in the evenings. Unfortunately, we had so many things to do all weekend away from the house that we did not get to use the hot tub. The only negative thing that I have to say is that the glass on the kitchen door really needs to be covered. That door faces a very busy street. We would definitely stay here again.

I booked this for my family. 8 of us ended up going. There is so big even if all 10 went there was plenty of room. It’s so cute, clean & convenient to everything! You can walk everywhere if you want but the drive to the beach is literally 3 minutes. We had a great time and are already talking about booking again. If you are considering renting this property just do it!!!

House was nice and clean. We appreciated there were dishes in the cabinets available to use. The one bedroom we used had a comfortable bed. We also enjoyed that the backyard had a privacy fence which made using the hottub near a busy road more private and enjoyable. Taco stand accross the street was a bit hit as well. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the New Buffalo area.

Coffee stains on countertop, long dark hair found in some of cabinet drawers in kitchen.
Immediately upon arriving, handle on front door came off with opening of door! Refrigerator not wiped out after previous guests! Photos are deceiving about size of patio where hot tub was.Patio chairs sunk through plastic overlay where rock covered patio. Safety issues concerning back yard as 3x5 piece of wood covering open hole, very unsafe for children. Hot tub water a disgusting green never remedied even after workers came out to service. Guests followed practice of adding chemical to water as directed. Considered it unsafe with concerns that bacteria or chemical imbalance may damage guests skin. No light in dining area. No insulation between basement ceiling and first floor hardwood. Can hear every footstep taken on first floor, while trying to sleep downstairs. Coffee creamer in glass canister on counter outdated and clumped in coffee, spoiled. Just throw it out! Had to ask for grass to be cut in yard. Guest asked for decrease in rate, when 3 adults and 4 children, left house on 7/5/2023. No consideration given. Request made prior to guests arriving!

Nice house, wouldn't recommend for large groups
Our family of four was comfortable enough in the house, and the location was great. We were able to easily walk to restaurants, get to the beach, and get to the Indiana Dunes National Park. The appliances all worked well, and there were plenty of dishes, etc. for our family of four. The host communicative, and everything was clean. There was a $600 difference between the per night amount times the length of our stay (4 nights) and what we ended up paying because of fees. For example, the house sleeps 10 according to the listing, but we only had 4 people and were charged $80 for "Extra Person Fee."

Perfect get away for moms with their kids
3 moms and 3 kids truly enjoyed 3 nights stay. We could have easily had another mom with 2 kids with us. Location was 4 minutes drive to the beach. Great Mexican place just across the street. Ice cream was just down the street. Hot tub was a big hit with the kiddos and moms as well. I would stay their again in a heart beat. Communication with the owner was so impressive. Highly recommended. The only suggestion would be to install some sort of blinds for the front door since it’s facing the Main Street. Other than that 5 stars. Thank you!

Well cared for property. Comfortable, contemporary decor and beds. Would suggest a need for lighting over dining table and next to beds, window covering over door and egress windows, and towel racks somewhere (no place to hang a wet bath towel). Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try out the hot tub, but we did see someone taking care of it! Would return to this property!
