The suite was not clean. Pull-out couch had a huge stain on it and broken. When I called front desk they told me they would tell maintenance next day, I was there for only one night. Both of the bathrooms and around floors had hair on them. The beddings had little dirt like someone just pulled the covers remained the bed not change sheets etc… my family and I Slept with clothes on that night.

It is a great Apartment-hotel and the suites have the right amenities. One critic that I have would be that there would sometimes you could smell the cigarette smoke from other neighbours blowing into the furnace. Public transportation is limited and so it's best to have a car. Staff is super helpful and accommodating.

The advertisement said that the room had a “FIREPLACE”. I called before to verify, the person verified that yes the room had a fireplace. I asked if I needed to bring my own wood, he said “no we have everything you need here”. Never once was there any mention that the “FIREPLACE” was an electric fireplace. This should have been disclosed. It was false advertisement and fraudulent. Awful business practice. AWFUL. Just flat out ripping people off.

Breakfast buffet had one tiny yogurt cup, sausage patties and potato cubes, no eggs…. Even hard boiled. Just say very limited breakfast included.

It was okay for the night. But even if you pay in full there is a large deposit that isn’t disclosed on the Expedia listing. It’s pretty noisy at night and many random people walking around. So maybe not the safest or comforting stay. It got the job done for the night but most likely won’t be staying here again.

The property was centrally located in New Haven and breakfast was good, but the inside of the room was very worn out, carpet had stains and closet doors didn't close properly. I'm glad that I had flip flops to use when walking on the carpet.

God bless the maintenance guy
Rooms could be tidier. One of the towel looks used. Bed didn't smell good good or bad but it wasn't pleasant. Shower took too long to warm up water. Receptionists could be friendlier. Saying "good morning" won't hurt them. Explaining one card is for gate and the other for the room door would be helpful. "Free breakfast" without scrambled eggs is not breakfast at all. Orange juice and coffee was delicious and plentiful though. In all, property looks well maintained and if room smelled more fresh I would give it 4 stars. Kudos to the maintenance guy, he gave me the only smile I got in two days
