AnJ Bed and Breakfast, family friendly, quiet country setting.

We are located one mile off route 23, in a country setting located right in the Amish/Mennonite community. We are just minutes from the towns of Bird-In-Hand, Intercourse and Strasburg.
We have a 1100 square foot air-conditioned basement apartment, with a private ground level entrance. A large lawn and swing set for the children to enjoy.
Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, silverware and utensils.
A spacious dining room and living room with two deluxe queen sofa beds.
A bedroom with a queen size bed, and a pack and play available.
A bathroom with a 36x36 walk in shower.

I’ve stayed here twice and both times were extremely enjoyable. Very clean and all the extra amenities that you’d need. Quiet location and the owners are very hospitable and help in any way they can. Will definitely be returning again.

Peaceful & wonderful
We had a wonderful stay at AnJ B&B. They were so welcoming and friendly, and willing to help us in any way. The property is absolutely beautiful with amazing views and lots for our 3 children to do. The accommodations were cozy, and I appreciated all of the extra "little" things in the kitchen -- basics like salt & pepper, coffee, tea, and much more. We would love to stay here again. It brought peace to our souls.

A roomy apartment with plenty of sleeping options. It was very clean and perfectly comfortable. Great to have a swingset outside for the kids, peddle bikes, and a nice fire pit. This is a great central location to enjoy the area. Aaron and Janice were wonderful hosts.

Our Fifth Time!
We enjoyed another relaxing and comfortable stay at AnJ Bed and Breakfast . . . for a 5th time! Aaron and Janice are wonderful hosts who provide a very clean, comfortable and spacious vacation apartment. It’s located in a quiet area just off a main route so you get the benefit of a close proximity to tourist attractions and then a peaceful place to return each evening.

The hosts at AnJ have thought of all your needs from the lovely outdoor area to the clean beds, breakfast items, and toiletries in the bathroom. The children especially loved the riding toys. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we travel to the area another time!

Friendly Getaway
Property was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. Property was clean and our hosts were friendly. We had a great time roasting hot dogs and playing card games. Activities are close by for day trips. Wonderful experience to get away from technology and spend time with people you care about.

Great Stay!!!
We stopped in for a quick overnight stay. The home was pleasant, clean, and well stocked. The price was affordable and the checkout “rules” were very reasonable! One note, the breakfast portion is continental. There were cereals, bars, yogurt, fruit, bread, etc. It was not a hot, prepared. But everything was amazing!!!

The property was bigger than I expected. The place was spick & span. There were a lot of items available to eat. They even had honey (which I use in my coffee). Unfortunately, we did not get to meet our hosts but maybe we will use their place again when we return and will meet them then. It was very convenient to the things we wanted to do while we were there

Nice little place while visiting the Lancaster, Pa area
Very clean, nice little place. Everything you need for a great stay while in the Lancaster, Pa area. Cozy apartment that is very comfy and welcoming. It was good to be able to come back and relax after all our daily activities. The owners are very friendly people who are only a call away if needed. They even brought us fresh doughnuts on the morning we were leaving.

Overnight Concert Stay
I have stayed at this rental several times before and Janice always keeps it immaculately. This time I brought my sister because we had tickets to see Jeremy Camp - who did a great concert! I gave my sister the queen bed and I slept on sofa bed. I didn’t find the sofa bed comfortable unfortunately- I think all sofa beds aren’t comfortable for older adults. But Janice had it all set up and welcoming. Another thing I never experienced here was the heating pipes are noisy. I usually go in summer so didn’t experience that before. I brought a sound machine with me which helped and I know the bedroom has one available. The weather wasn’t on our side this time / very cold and windy so it prevented us from enjoying the full beauty of her property 😉 I still will be using this property in future if I come by myself or with my grands. My husband passed away last October in our 45th wedding anniversary- so if I travel to Lancaster I like knowing this is a safe place to stay 😁

Beautiful stay
After a long day of shopping, to come and relax at such a nice place made things even more enjoyable. Loved the firepit and all the sounds of the peaceful country air. Grill worked great and everything that was listed was all there.
