Glamping adventure at the base of the Blue Ridge. Pet friendly, close to it all.

Come "glamp" with nature at this memorable place in an Airstream spectacular! Filled to the brim with goodies. Wonderful coffee bar to enjoy while sitting on your private deck only steps from the bank of the pond. Amazing outdoor shower. Fish in the stocked pond day or night. No permit needed. Spend the evening cuddled up admiring the starry sky, then off to bed, awaken fresh with sounds of nature. What more could you ask for? Coffee, peace & quiet, wifi if needed. The PINNACLE of glamping!

THE SPACE:

All the extras have been tastefully added to this vintage Airstream. The host offers a superb coffee bar, munchies, and pastries and muffins for breakfast. Comfortable, fluffy bedding, warm rugs... All you can hope for while taking in the fresh air and starry sky with no light pollution. And don't forget smores made by the fire in your Solo firepit.

Please be aware when booking, this is a large Airstream. Space is actually pretty great but be mindful that the bathroom is small. Showering in the bathroom in the Airstream is snug for a small person, HENCE why WE OFFER A PRETTY GREAT OUTSIDE SHOWER WITH LARGE PAN/RAINHEAD. Its a pretty nice experience. This is not your average outside shower. There is also another toilet facility on the property.

Glamping in the catch is a great experience! So peaceful and relaxing in your own little oasis just off of the waters edge.

PLEASE READ FULL LISTING!

There are eight secluded, roomy acres to explore. Large pond with fish to drown your concerns and worries away. Fishing novice or simply looking to try? Ask the host; she enjoys sharing her skill and is passionate about fishing.

There is a Galley/Kitchen with cooktop, microwave, coffee pot, camper size refrigerator w/ freezer, utensils and everything for your cooking needs. With this being said, the oven is extremely small, hence why full size casserole/baking dishes are not offered in the kitchen items. There is a full set of skillets and small pots along with mixing bowls, cutting boards, small baking dish, cookie sheets. Kitchen is set up to promote outdoor cooking, heightening your "glamping" experience. There is a charcoal grill and a few smokers available for use.

We do provide coffee, creamers, tea, and sugar along with spices and cooking oils.

There is a Queen SHORT located in the rear of the Airstream for the master glamping suite. The comfy sofa in the living room converts to a bed that is great for kids. The dinette set also drops down and offers a small sleeping area however, not recommended or suitable for adults due to size. Great for kids. (max height of individual sleeping on converted dinette is four feet)

There is an amazing spa like outdoor shower in the common gathering area, just steps away from the Airstream's resting location. Also a toilet facility near the shower as well.

On the deck you will find comfy furnishings to enjoy with your guests and a picnic table has been placed along the pond bank to enjoy dinner by the water. At the common gathering area you will find an array of rocking chairs, comfy loveseat and chairs with cushions and pillows to rock the day away.

The space is great for stargazing as there is no light pollution what so ever. If you are a bird watcher, the host has been able to identify over 27 bird varieties with the help of Merlin, the ap. Peacefulness abounds here.

Cell service is great here if you must be on the phone.

Be aware there is a very short walk through the lawn to your Airstream experience. Host is able to assist with luggage/baggage delivery with RTV.

Mother+Son+One Getaway
Glamping in an Airstream at the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains sounded like a dream come true to me. Add a fish-stocked pond, some bull frogs & a million twinkling stars in the moonless sky & you could have convinced me that I had died and gone to heaven. Tabatha our Host, was the epitome of Southern Hospitality and she's a dog-lover. That made my adult son happy because his 12-yr.-old. fur-baby was traveling with us. Tabatha did everything to ensure that our stay was absolutely perfect. I got the biggest kick out of our 12 yr. old ESA dog, a yellow lab/basset hound mix.. On our last trip to the car we allowed him to follow us "off-leash" to the car. As if to show his appreciation, he flopped down on the grass & rolled around on his back, all 4 feet in the air!! I could almost hear that tune, "Almost Heaven, West Virginia. Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River..." Thanks, Tabatha! Until next time.

We fulfilled our dream of staying in an Air Stream RV! Such a wonderful site, the pond with turtles, bull frogs, fish, and ducks is right in front of the deck. The ducks stopped by each dusk to say hello. We also did some birding from the deck. The site is within driving distance of 2 National Parks, a cute ice cream stand, and lots of good food. Tabatha is a great host. We enjoyed our stay, immensely. Thank you, Tabatha!

Hidden Gem
This amazing property is like a hidden gem in the hills of VA. Taby the hostess was very friendly, thorough and nearly instant in communication. The adorable airstream was cozy and perfectly apportioned for your stay. We enjoyed time on the deck with the fire and grilled dinner on the weber. Enjoyed a great hike on Stoney Man trail in the National Park, so the super comfy bed was a great end to our day. Would highly recommend!

Slice of Paradise Outside Shenandoah National Park
I just got home from my first, but certainly not last, trip to The Catch. My daughter asked for a camping trip to Shenandoah for her 14th birthday! I suggested doing this Airstream instead, and she loved it!!! Such a peaceful and relaxing property! The bed in The Catch was extremely comfortable! Being able to sleep while hearing the peaceful night noises was simply magical! I’m sad I didn’t take advantage of the outdoor shower, but it gives me a reason to come back! Taby is such a gracious host and was quick to answer any of my questions. She has a passion for showing true hospitality. I loved the entire vibe of the property and look forward to returning!

Boho Airstream Dream
The most perfect little boho airstream situated on a beautiful property with mountain view’s and a stocked pond right outside the front door. Taby, the host, is so friendly and thoughtful. We even woke up to homemade banana bread the first morning left outside the door. She checked in several times to make sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable and was so nice to chat with. I loved hearing how The Catch came to be as it turns out Virgin River on Netflix was the inspiration behind it and that is how staying in an airstream got on my bucket list! Also just to note, The Catch is located close to several charming small towns. On the day of check in I suggest coming to town early and enjoy walking through one and visiting the local shops and cafes. Woodstock VA is one I highly recommend! Lunch at the Woodstock Cafe is incredible and you can slip across the street to The Buttercup Boutique for a lil shopping! Lucky for us The Catch is just a quick 30 minute drive across th

Beautiful view
We stayed one night and left early. The host was wonderful and the place was clean. The main issue was the bed which is a queen sized mattress was very uncomfortable. We were told toilet paper could not be flushed but instead had to be thrown away. Even though there was a fire pit and is shown full of wood we were informed wood was an additional charge. Lastly there is a cleaning fee but you have to empty the trash yourself. None of this was in the description of the property. There is no wifi offered either.
