My husband and i arrived the night before Hurricane Francine and the hotel took great care of us.made sure we had everything we needed and we felt safe. The bar even stayed open which i thought was very nice and i heard that they even put their staff up for the night which i find amazing.

Great Stay at Bourbon Orleans
Excellent location, easy to walk to Cafe Deumond and Pirates Alley Cafe bar, friendly staff. We had a balcony view that offered such a classic view of the Jackson square church and French Quarter, plus great people watching . Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper because you can hear the very loud, Bourbon Street music till 4am which is expected in New Orleans. Free coffee available daily but it wasn’t consistent as to where to get it, sometimes it was at the bar and sometimes we had to go to the restaurant. Very nice door men, helpful with all questions and getting transportation. We loved the spa water available for guests in the lobby. Our only complaint was the housekeeping services, we often had to go find our own towels, toilet paper etc because our room was not serviced. When we called to front desk to report the issue at 2pm they said housekeeping left for the day. Overall a great stay, Will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property. Great pool. Awesome balcony rooms. Super comfy beds. Fantastic bar playing jazz every night, one of the classier bars on Bourbon St right in your hotel!

The only nice features of the Bourbon Orleans are its location and the comfort of their beds. Otherwise, for the price, very disappointing in terms of front desk hospitality, mediocre pool setting, minimal cable tv options, minimal in house food options, and a surprise daily $20 fee as well as $40 early check-in fee. We will not be staying there when we return next year.
