Although I read mixed reviews of the hotel, I found it to be satisfactory in every way. The staff was accommodating, especially the valet parking group, although the $52 per day cost was higher than the norm. The parking area used was well protected and could be seen from the street so that was a plus. The breakfast options were limited and not particularly tasty and the cost was high for a simple buffet breakfast. The room was fine and comfortable and cleaned daily, which is not always the case in this era. Appreciated.

The hotel was very nice and in a great spot! It is right on canal Street and we were able to walk to everything in the French quarter easily. The hotel was clean and safe and the staff were very nice! It was close enough to everything without being right in the middle of all of it. Definitely would stay here again!

The staff greated us like we were family. They gave us a warm cookie the first night. The rooms were clean and cozy. The water pressure in the shower was incredible. I stayed for 5 days in the staff interacted with me and my wife each day. On the 6th day as a surprise to my wife for our anniversary we moved across the street to Ceasars. The Double tree was hands down the better of the two stays.I regreted moving.

The price from hotel.com compared to what the hotel charges you is wrong. Price was way too much out of the budget, but ended up not having a choice but to pay it.

Front desk staff was nice and welcoming, check in was very smooth and easy. The hotel was older, but clean. I felt safe there and it was in more quiet part of town, however, you can hear the neighboring hotel room doors slamming so loud that it wakes you up at night. Didn't rent a car for my trip since parking was quite costly at $52/night but luckily this hotel is located in a good convenient location. Only about 10-15 min walk to Bourbon Street and French Quarter and Caesar's Casino is right across the street. There is also plenty of shopping and restaurants available nearby. Streetcar picks up and drops off right across the street also.

Breakfast was an issue each morning, took forever to take and place orders and receive food (one day had to get take away because we would miss our day trip), only Valet parking at $52 a night, I was charged twice for the room stay so had to sort that out. Our toiletries didn’t get topped up so ran out of bath soap and didn’t get new face washes. For the price we paid I wasn’t very impressed with the service. Also no laundry service was available.
