Was a great stay. Breakfast people a little on the rude side. Detail cleaning needed. But was there for fun and we had that!!!
I've been to other Hotels in NOLA in the past.
But Homewood is better then the others. The rooms in my suite was very nice. Had everything you needed for a pleasant stay. I will be coming back next year and will be staying at Homewood Suites forsure. Excellent
The hotel was convenient to everything - walking distance to local excitement and still far away enough to be quiet - so perfect to enjoy and still not be bothered by the nighttime indulgences. It was clean, smelled great and was secure with roomkey entry at the entrance, at all times.
Homewood suites was very accommodating traveling from two states over. We needed early check in having little ones and traveling for so many days. The early check in we were provided was not as ready as we assumed. The bedding was used and there was trash on the dressers. Homewood suites did fix the issues at hand asap. The following morning the fire alarm went off at 6 am. My husband children and myself were woken abruptly by a false fire alarm.
The room was spacious and clean. The room was clearly not attended to properly. The master bed had sheets on it which did not fit. There was no sheets for the pull out couch. I the called the front desk for sheets and blankets but after waiting for hours took what I needed from a maids cart.There was no silverware in the kitchenette. Most of the dispensers in the shower were empty. The problem in this place is the management. There are only six cards for the laundry facility. So unless you pitch a fit don't expect to use it. The maids take up all the washers and dryers since they do their laundry in there as well. Eventually after a ton of stress and a call to corporate a team of maids came to set up the room/beds right. The cards to open the rooms door stopped working and one night it took 50 minutes to access our room. It's just nonsense. I lost about four hours of my vacation due to the understaffed front desk. The manager was supposedly never there or late...The weekend was a different story. Tons of help buzzing around. All I can say is they have some really excellent staff but the management needs work!
