The air conditioners did NOT work.. Also there is a very scary and steep staircase to all rooms - except for a few rooms on the ground floor they do not normally rent out. NO phone in the room...

The a/c was broken very hot no towels brought my own was given the wrong room 1 small bed for 2 hefty individuals have to walk to another building for ice half the time nobody was working just a complete fail

Nice room, plenty of space and good walking distance to Bourbon st, Jackson Square but not close enough to hear the noise when you are ready for bed. Private courtyard was nice.

They tell you theres no deposit but the charge you $100 when you get there.. you had walk around building on the other corner of the block just to get ice.. theres no parking except 4 blocks away and it was over $130 from 4pm Wednesday to 11am Friday.. And the water in the shower had one temperature and it was scolding hot

Temperature issues
We booked the two bedroom suite. The hotel is nice and in a great location but the air conditioner in the main area never got the temperature below 81 and the air conditioner in the king bedroom never got the temperature below 77. The only other issue was with the hot water it was way too hot it was very difficult to get the water down to a temperature that you could stand.

This is a neat little place to stay. Looks like it’s straight out of Pirates of the Caribbean, only it’s the real thing! Rooms are small but clean and comfy, nice bathrooms, great shower. No problems, would recommend. Staff was great, very helpful and friendly!

My husband and I stayed here for a week during our visit in the French Quarter. We stayed in a deluxe double room. The AC didn’t work too well it kept the room cool but not to the temperature we would have preferred and we did not have a refrigerator in our room. The ice machine was in the second courtyard, which was a bit of an inconvenience. House keeping walked into our room while we were there we didn’t hear a knock at our door so I would recommend them knocking louder for guest to hear. Other than that, it is in a very quiet and secluded street away from all the noise of bourbon Street and a 10 minute walk from the most popular restaurants and shops.

Great spot just inside the French Quarter, but not right in the middle, so you can walk to everything, but it's still a nice quiet place to rest. The staff were great - friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Nice room
The room was very spacious as it was tbe king suite. The bed was very comfortable. The lock didnt work on the door. The bathtib was stained yellow and some rustiness on it.
