This is a historic hotel, so expect plenty of charm and a few creaks here and there. Check-in was quick and friendly, and my room was ready early. Beds were comfortable, doors locked tightly, and the private courtyard was lovely to enjoy on a sunny afternoon. Will be my go-to spot next time I’m in NOLA for its convenient Marigny location and affordable but high-quality experience.

Rude front desk

The check-in took 45 mins because the person had an issue with me having three dogs all under pounds. No where on hotels.com or the hotel's website says anything about pet limit only weight. She says it's a new policy and she assumed the sites weren't updated yet. After waiting almost an hour the owner of the hotel instructed her to check me in. Not to mention the place is a complete dump. Each night i literally slept with my close on. Had to go to Walgreens to get bug spray because of the flying insects that attack as soon as you enter the room

Front desk area was freezing. First roon had stains on bed and shower and broken ac unit and rhe temp was in the low 30s. Moved to 2nd room and sheets were filthy saw a mouse when i walked out. Although bedroom was warmer, the bathroom seemed like no insulation from the outside, was not able to shower and using thr bathroom qa uncomfortable to say the least.would have choose another if not for the weather and time.
