Overall enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Amazing location and surprisingly quiet for being right outside of the French Quarter and Canal St. Great staff—very helpful. Cool retro spacious building with internal open air space in the middle of the building. Has a decent gym, elevators, stairs. Plenty of hot water for showers.

Perfect location to easily walk to the French Quarter and Convention Center. Older hotel but bed was very comfortable. Room was clean and plenty of room. Great air conditioner. I had one of the interior rooms without an outside window which was great. It was very quiet. Price was very good, too. Second time staying here and will stay here next time I come to NOLA.

Priority check?
Check in was a mess and I was very disappointed. I waited while others who came in after me were given priority to check in. This made no sense to me and has left me with a negative opinion of my experience. We also had a bad experience where someone else’s room key opened our door. Thankfully we had the chain attached so they couldn’t come in. The room was fine but nothing to report about. I would choose a different hotel when in NewOrleans based on my experience

This was a terrible experience. We’d travelled for hours and got to the check in at 2:57. We were sent away to come back after 3 and wait in line behind all the “pre checks.” No valet parking, and our vehicle wouldn’t fit in the garage so I paid $114 for premium parking next door for 16 hours.

Stayed for 2 nights. Very walkable to the Superdome and Bourbon Street! On arrival we were notified that daily housekeeping was unavailable. Not a huge deal given short duration of stay, but not ideal given the large volume of people staying in the hotel for the Taylor Swift Concert. We also had difficulty with room keys. When we first checked in and walked up to the room the key didn't work. There were then 4 separate occasions where the key didn't work (even after them being "fixed"), so this was very frustrating. We were told to keep keys away from phones and credit cards which we did, however this issue continued to happen. Additionally there was a man within the hotels business office watching inappropriate content -visible to families in the lobby waiting to check in. Not necessarily within the properties control, but did not contribute to a "comfortable" environment. The property should strongly consider getting key access (and maybe investing in more reliable keys) via the front door and to its business office to only grant guest access and prevent such things.

Read many reviews saying one horrible thing after another but due to the other hotels being booked or way over priced because of the Taylor Swift concert, our choices were limited. We were pleasantly surprised in the fast & friendly check in, beautiful lobby, clean carpeted hallways, well stocked rooms with plenty of towels, coffee making supplies, bottled waters and comfy beds. Yes the elevator is dark and the air conditioning was arctic cold but other than that, perfect. Even the drop of of luggage was easy and the parking garage close by was cheap, clean & easy in and out. Plus it’s walking distance of the Superdome. We’ll be back!!!!

Pros: was best price for a nice hotel near French Quarter at the time we were looking. Room was comfortable and clean. Close to public transportation and Canal Street. Take out breakfast available for purchase in lobby. Cons: noisy - all doors slam when people come and go and walls are very thin. The gentleman in the next room said something and my husband asked me to repeat myself :) No daily housekeeping (room was cleaned once for a 6 night stay), had to ask for towels and coffee whenever needed, but staff is very accommodating when asked.

We paid over $300 per night for a room that was below basic. The photos online are extremely misleading. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink and only hot water in the shower periodically. We were originally given a small, dark, run down, grubby King bed room with NO window to the outside. When we complained we were reluctantly moved to a room with an outside window but were told those rooms only had two full size beds, no king. They wanted to charge us an extra $20 per night for the luxury of having a window to the outside. Our view was a run down building across the street with broken windows and a dumpster. Desk staff and management were unfriendly. We had to pay and extra $40 per night for parking, AND an extra $100 (refundable ) as a security deposit. A horrendous, overpriced experience. I have seen better roadside motels than this hotel. 0 stars

Staff were very nice and it was clean. The facility is in fair condition at best, the neighborhood is not great. Some rooms have interior facing windows (ie not to the outside) as it was a department store in its previous life. It is a short walk to Canal and a medium walk to the FQ.
