Mother Nature’s Loon Haven on Porter Lake in New Vineyard, Maine
Cottage with historic silo in tranquil lakeside setting. The kitchen proceeds into the open concept living and dining room. One bedroom is off the kitchen, and another is next to the dining area, through a winsome barn-style rolling door. Off the living room is a spacious screen porch for lounging, reading, or entertaining. Fire pit next to the lake.
The silo's presence on the property lends a historic beauty to the landscape of Mother Nature’s Loon Haven. (Silo not for rent)
An added unique and delightful feature of this destination is the island on Porter Lake, which is open to residents and guests. While kayaking or canoeing, visitors can cruise the pristine lake and are often rewarded with Bald Eagle sightings both in flight and on the island.
Guests will enjoy kayaking or canoeing Porter Lake, having a picnic or BBQ on the shore, and peaceful evenings on the screened-in porch.

Great Place
If looking for a quaint and quiet place this is the place. Right on the water. A screened in porch to enjoy the view and nature without the bugs/flys to bother you. Would definitely stay there again. Host was great in communication before and after trip.

Fourth with Family
Karen's lake house was the perfect way to celebrate the Fourth of July with our family. The lake access, screened porch and air conditioning was the perfect combination to enjoy the warm days and nights. The mountain views provided a serene setting and awesome back drop for fireworks. Karen was a great host and we hope to stay again in the future.
