Excellent hotel with an unbeatable location. Stayed in a suite this time. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortaboe. Good price for the size of the room and central location. Staff were courteous and helpful. Restaurant serves amazing Japanese food for lunch and dinner and good, standard breafast. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room was loud with non-sound proofed windows. The staff were not very service oriented across the board and more interested in conversing with each other than with guests. Room service forgot to put in my order but they did end up comping it. There is no gym. The house keeping people were overly hovering on a daily basis. My room was dark and the hotel is not the nicest though the location is wonderful.

Pros - this property was perfect for my brief stay as a solo traveler in NY. Great location very close to Central Park. The rooms are compact but efficient and stylish - this is not a new hotel but the decor has stood the test of time. Staff was friendly and kudos, especially the housekeepers who were exceptionally kind. Plenty of dining options nearby. Cons - the room was dark, even with the curtains open. Bathroom lighting was flattering but with the dark tile walls it needed more light. Shower curtain was perhaps the worst part, showing bad signs of age and wear - an easy fix that they’ll hopefully make soon.
