DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!! The rooms are FILTHY. Bring sandals. The electric doesn't work. The room SMELLED so badly of mold. My bathroom towels never dried. There were stains all over the curtains and chairs. The curtains fell out of the track and light came in at night. And more. I spoke to front desk staff 3 times and nothing was done. After finally getting to speak to a manager, they offered me a discount that didn't even cover the cost of one full nights stay. Location is great. Everything else is AWFUL! And they charge a resort fee which is laughable. STAY SOMEHWERE ELSE!

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for more than a week, and we had a wonderful stay! We’re giving Candlewood Suites New York City-Times Square an excellent rating! The hotel staff were awesome, especially Ikbal, Laura, and Kenny. They were all very accomodating, courteous, and friendly! They made our stay at the hotel memorable, enjoyable, and pleasant. The room is well-equipped — it has a big refrigerator, a big microwave, plates and kitchen utensils, iron, bread toaster, and some other appliances. The room is big compared to other hotel rooms we’ve stayed in before in NYC. It had a street view, which was an additional bonus! The room had plenty of storage spaces for our clothes and things. There’s complimentary coffee all day. There’s also a laundry room and the use of laundry facilities is complimentary. There’s also an area at the hotel lobby stocked with food and drinks, which you can buy. The location of the hotel is near to everywhere you’d want to go to and visit in New York City while on vacation. There are restaurants, eating places, shops, and convenience stores nearby. We have been to New York City several times and stayed at various hotels. So far, this hotel, Candlewood Suites New York City-Time Square, is the best. We would recommend it to friends and family! This hotel would now be me and my wife’s preferred hotel every time we’re in New York City. In fact, we’d stay here again next week! Looking forward to another wonderful stay at the hotel!

Great amenities with free water, coffee and tea in the lobby. Room was clean. Small elevator that fills quickly, so it is tough to catch. Elevator almost broke with us in it (it stalled between floors). The first room they gave us was locked from the inside and delayed us getting into a room for 30 minutes. Location was good, close to Times Square. TV quality could have been better. Morning staff was super friendly and held our luggage until we departed at night. Overall it was a weird experience.
