Overrated and over priced. The lobby had a terrible smell. The restaurant by the pool has menus that are barely readable, the food mediocre and the pricing is unexplainably expensive. Not to mention that even if you stay here there’s a $155 charge for 1 pool chair per person (crazy). The rooms are very small. Beds have our back hurting because they were so uncomfortable . However, The staff were really nice. Front desk, the guy attending the pool and the guy who opens the heavy door to go to the pool were all very helpful and nice when asked questions. PhD club a drink is $25 , full of 21year olds who can’t hold their liquor. Overall an experience, wouldn’t stay here again.

I booked my daycation at the Dream (I’m a fellow NY’er) to have some ME time away from my five fur babies for the day/night. I arrived early prior to check in time so that I could enjoy the pool area. I wasn’t aware that the pool loungers are available at a fee for $150, but I payed for it anyway. While relaxing by the pool a I enjoyed lunch and drinks, the waitresses were very attentive and super friendly. I worked my way to the reception at 2:45 to check in, proceeded to drop my bags off in the room (706). I wasn’t impressed by the room at all, seemed a bit dated. TV/cable was not working. Maintenance promptly came to fix, turns out it still wasn’t working. I packed my bag (a little aggravated) and headed down to the reception where the gentleman at reception was waiting for me with a new key/room on the 11th floor. The room was much bigger and prettier and everything worked. So i was happy. The staff at the Dream was great! I’m grateful it worked out.

I didn't like that you have to pay for chairs around the pool area. I did not this and had to fork an additional 160. Dollars. What's the point of saving for the room when you get hit with additional costs.

Check in is 3pm. When we arrived at 4 pm our room was not yet ready and we were asked to wait till we got a text. Front desk was understaffed and lobby was very warm. Finally got our room at 4:45 pm. Room on the 2nd floor backed up to the pool so you can’t open drapes and was very noisy till we left at 6:30pm. No coffee or tea in the room, only alcohol, so it’s not exactly for the family crowd. Be prepared to have limited privacy in the bathroom since the wall that separates the room from the bathroom is mirrors and not opaque.
