The staff at the Hyatt Dream Manhattan is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are small but serviceable. The housekeeping was available everyday to tidy up and provide clean linens. Overall, the place is a bit tired but the location is great and the Penthouse restaurant is fantastic.

A great location on Broadway. Close to Times Square and closer to Central Park. This Hyatt is a winner....find the rooftop bar and patio for a pleasant surprise.

Dream Midtown has a great location. Staff was excellent. Rooms are or course on the smaller side, but very comfortable. The only reason I didn't do a 5 star was the noise. Other hotels windows seem to block the noise. The windows in the Dream hotel might as well be wide open, they stop no noise from coming in.

Only reason it was not five stars is phone customer service system that Hyatt provides. Room was what I saw on the site. Front desk check in and other requests were perfect; reception agents at the hotel were fantastic. WiFi worked well, as did tv. Sundries (shampoo, water) were good. Phone system to talk to Hyatt and room service were horrible.

As soon as we got to the hotel I realized that my king size bed was actually more like a queen size. When I called to tell them I didn’t get a king they told me that’s what they consider a king size. I told them if I ordered a king size bed I should get one, not a queen size bed that they try to pass off as king. He said all their king rooms were like this and it’s not an actual king but what THEY call a king. The rep and manager were very rude and argumentative. The next day, engineering just flung open our door. When I called to find out what happened because I was scared by some random person opening my door, I didn’t get a response like I was promised. I came downstairs to find out what was going on. The manager called me and told me the engineer went into the wrong room. They offered to comp us breakfast and credit me the destination charge (why is this even a charge when there aren’t amenities??). The breakfast was gross and stale (bread basket and cold coffee). The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or the restaurant, Serafina. Far better options available in the area.
