We were welcomed by a very friendly doorman named Romeo. He and the other staff were very accommodating and clear with valet instructions and pricing. They all made our trip very relaxing and smooth.

They tagged $90 for facilities fees. When asked they said this was for the WiFi and the Workout Room access and apparently it was in the fine print of the contract. This is the first time ever for me. Never even heard of this fee before. Be aware. Maybe you can turn these down when you check in.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel. Room was spacious especially by NYC standards. Our first room had a musty smell ( seemed that the AC could have been the culprit - weather was very hot and humid while there), that got worse the second day. Staff was responsive to our concern and moved us to another room; however that room was smaller than the first room, so was a bit of a downgrade for us, but could be the hotel was fully booked which they did tell us about initially. Overall the accommodations, staff and location were quite good. On a side note, we noticed the elevators were extremely fast and comfortable. Would stay there again.

The property is decent. No perks for the $30 a day resort fees, not even free coffee like the other Affinias/Sonesta properties. None of the staff behind the counter are friendly almost like you're bothering them, with the exception of Romeo the doorman who was soooo friendly, helpful and all around amazing! Our cleaning lady on our 8th floor was really nice and cheerful also.

I guess they really don’t care if you’re comfortable with the guest rooms assigned. They didn’t go out of their way to earn your loyalty.The bellman Sammy was very nice. No I will NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.
