Beware if you're a business traveler looking for a place to stay in a convenient location. This hotel closes its lobby between Midnight and 6 am each night, leaving guests stranded if they need to work or mingle with others. This policy is unheard of in my extensive hotel experience and feels more restrictive than a college dorm. When I raised my concerns with a staff member on duty on 12/23/2024, the response was dismissive. If you value flexibility and late-night activities, consider this before booking. I won't be returning, and I suggest you think twice too. - Dennis, Los Angeles, CA. Addendum: The hotel's response that guests have access to the lobby is both misleading and incorrect. I was a guest...with a key! That still didn't stop him from demanding that I leave the lobby where I had already been for an hour quietly working on my computer. He's was very clear that the lobby was closed from Midnight-6am, so what's the point in having a key or being a guest?

Excellent location. Check in was easy. Room was small, but you would expect that in New York. Somewhat dated and could definitely use a refresh, but was clean and served the purpose. One major complaint was the water pressure. The shower had no pressure…the water dribbled out of the shower head. And a shower that Should have taken five or 10 minutes took 20. Seriously, it was pretty ridiculous.

location is excellent and the room is renovated and clean. However, the lady at the front desk has quite some attitude when we are asking questions about the room and how to use the daily credit at the hotel.

- wallpaper peeling in bathroom - no drainage in bathroom, so after one hour of having a shower, needing to use the loo and feet getting wet - people pushing in the queue then staffing allowing them to be served - booked on hotel.com- paid in full. Now I have two other transactions on my credit card for £77 and £27. I had already paid for the room in full, still on my credit!! Please refund! - hotel needs a lot of work. - not happy

The rooms are so small the bed is 2ft from the wall hit my leg so many times squeezing by bed. Bring shower shoes could clean shower floor better and leaked all over bathroom floor

The hotel was clean, organized and the staff was friendly. I likes that there was a daily snack credit and drycleaning. They also had a separate space for holding my bags since my flight was later on in the day. The walking distance to times square was great! They have 3 elevators but the wait was never long despite how big and busy NY can get. The daily coffee in the lobby would have been nicer if it was a coffee and tea station. I also wish the bed covers were not so thin. Overall, it is worth the price for a 3-4 star.

The view was amazing. Very convenient location to Times Square. Only issue was with the shower. The shower was dirty with hair on the bottles of shampoo/conditioner and little black gnats. At one point during a shower lost hot water and shower was ice cold. Staff very friendly and helpful. Made it very easy to store luggage before and after check in.

Problem with charges
Hotel is right on Times square so streets are always crowded and noisy because of the tourists. When making the reservation, I chose the option to pay at the hotel. Without notifying me, the hotel placed a hold on my bank account for the cost of one night’s stay. Since I was not expecting the charge, it caused problems with my bank account. Checked out today. Hold has now been removed. Email receipt has not been received. I have no idea what the total charge will be or when it will hit the account
