We were so happy with Hotel Stanford. It’s a quaint, older hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was beyond accommodating. Has a cute wine bar and a nice breakfast every morning. Would definitely stay there again.

Very comfy bed but the shower wasn’t great. The breakfast was terrible, paper plates, plastic cutlery, poor coffee and poor choice.

A nice, central and very clean hotel The breakfast on the other hand is terrible. Everything is pretty much bought at a bodega and served in the same plastic bags/ containers they came in. You have to wait approximately 20 minutes to make a slice of toast in the one toaster they have of the Wonderbread they offered. The staff is extremely helpful and cordial But the owners should definitely invest in a better presented breakfast if they are going to offer it at all.

good location
The room was clean, with a good shower and a clean bathroom. It was small but adequate for a midtown hotel in the heart of Manhattan, practically across from Macy's. The staff was very polite, even when the main elevator was out of service. I will stay again.

The staff was incredible from the front staff, to the door man, to the ladies at the lobby helping with breakfast - they were all very friendly and helpful. The room was bigger and comfortable than expected for a 2 twin bed. The elevator was small does not fit a lot of people but luckily we were on the third floor so we did not use it much. I would def stay here again.

Location was great. Room faced a bricked wall-staff lovely, breakfast coffee great but presentation and upkeep not the best. Nice coffee, yogurt options on table not on ice, bread area messy, big jars of peanut butter and jam with knife stuck in them (not sanitary for strangers to be sharing knife, but more Eco friendly by avoiding small plastic containers. Bathroom soaps and shampoos lovely. Bed sooo comfortable!!

We had a great stay at the hotel, the staff were welcoming and greeted us everytime we arrived and left. Its very well placed, 2 minute walk to Macy's, 5 minutes to Penn station, 5 minutes to the Empire State Building and a handy subway station just outside the door. The room was clean and comfortable and was serviced each day. Lots of food options located near the hotel.
