We were very happy with the hotel and would stay there again. I was not happy with how tipping was handled. The restaurant staff was great and we would have liked to tip them but realized when we were checking out that we did not know their names

Hyatt House Chelsea is very convenient to subway lines, and offers a pleasant enough stay. It is a little worn and needs some sprucing up. Elevator waits can be bad during breakfast time.
