Basic amenities were lacking like a coffee maker and even cups for water. At the end of a long work day I went to put ice in my ice bucket to enjoy a cold glass of water I purchased at the bodega and realized there were no cups. The inside of the fridge smelled awful and the poorly lit room with only 1 lamp made it a chore to do anything at night. The front desk staff was less than cheerful and sometimes seemed down right miserable

The rating on this hotel is deceiving. Rooms are not clean and definitely should not have a 4 star rating. Baseboards were full of dust, bathrooms has hair on floor l, toilet holder was broken and there was even hair stuck in the photos of the frames on the walls. Only one elevator was working in the morning hour and we had to literally stop on each floor from the 25th floor down to stop for people.

Quick visit to attend Film Festival. Check in was ok, except the room we were given was still occupied. Oops. We did not go in but the "do not disturb" sign was on the door. So got a new room, it was all good! Two comments, connecting rooms are NOISEY. Soundproof your doors would be great and the hotel needs coffee in the lobby and or coffee pots in the hotel room. TY

Classic NYC hotel. Great location where you are 7 minute walk from premier shopping, tourist activities, and Central Park. Rooms are nice, spacious and bathroom is nice with good water pressure. Clean facility. Also there is a pantry and coffee shop in the lobby which is very convenient

The room was freezing. I tried to control with thermostat, but didn't seem working. In the end I turned off, but still cold. I was trying to warm myself to take a bath but the cap to fill up water for bath was broken.

Four repeated requests for basic daily housekeeping during normal housekeeping hours completely ignored by staff. Bathroom smelled like mikdew. Shame the service was atrocious, as the bedroom is v. quiet and comfortable.
