We were initially surprised by the tiny size of our bunk bed pod, but it ended up being perfect for what we needed. The price was unbeatable, and the room had everything we needed, including clever space-saving furnishings like a small bedside phone charger/reading light/storage nook for each person. It was very clean and new looking, and the staff were all great. They even have an app with activities and recommendations for guests of Pod hotels.

My best friend and I had a great time staying at the Pod Hotel at Time Square. The location is great, the rooms are great and the staff is amazing!!! Check-In and Check-Out was a breeze.

Location. Location . Location. A block and a half from the Port Authority is the overwhelming draw of Pod Times Square . In exchange, DONT expect anything (in a basic room) other than the bare essentials ( ie bed, toilet , shower, desk, a safe, a tv etc). No tea/coffee making facilities . No drawers to put clothes in . Wall mounted hangers for clothes ( no wardrobe). Housekeeping/service can be a little erratic . Room wasn’t always cleaned despite the ‘ service room please’ notice being put on the door when leaving for the day. Ideal if you don’t intend spending much time in your room and just want a safe bolt hole with a bed to crash in at the end of the day . Avoid if looking for luxury . Book if you want a centrally located base to explore from

The proximity for things I wanted to do on my trip was the reason for booking this hotel. It had many great dining options and even a small convenience store next door. The room itself is pretty lackluster. I had to stack four pillows on top of each other because they were that thin. TV had two channels? Thermostat barely worked, the room was really warm all night. Not a terrible experience but I'm glad I was only staying one night.
