Guests talking in the hallway is very noisy from the inside. You can hear everything from the Conversation. And rhe other doors closing is very noisy as well. Other than that it is a great hotel.

I like how effective that the staff was. Very nice staff. I like the opening of the door and carrying our bags for us. I didn’t like how small the room was. I also didn’t like how they had literally no extra amenities. It was just a small room and continental breakfast. There was no hot breakfast whatsoever. It was good maybe average definitely not excellent. The area was quite safe and convenient though. A decent walk to anywhere around New York or to the subway. Not worth $500 a night at all. Why would I pay $500 a night when they don’t give me extra amenities at all and I have to pay for the stuff that is in the fridge? Staying at the Moxy or Margaritaville next time.

This property was clean, and the staff was polite and professional. However the rooms were much smaller than advertised and although clean not well maintained, The room the that I had had an air conditioner that did not work on an 80 degree so staff tried to repair the unit and had us wait for hours only to tell us that the unit could not be fixed, We were moved to another room at 3:45 am and the fire alarm was going off further interrupting our sleep we were told someone would return to stop the alarm but they never did. I deserve a refund because I did not sleep at all.

Of course, Times Square is a busy, active area. And the Sanctuary Hotel does its best to provide a refuge from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are small. The updated styling helps to mask the aged architecture. And the staff does a great job of filtering visitors and of recognizing guests.

The hotel and staff were great. However, for $30 plus the breakfast was lacking. It caters it a more European style breakfast. I required something more substantial to start my day.

Stayed three nights and was more than pleased. Close to shows, museum exhibits, shopping and dining. Had an early dinner at the rooftop and enjoyed the food, amazing atmosphere and excellent service. Room was fairly quiet given the location, cleverly designed to maximize the space, comfortable bed and very clean. Received excellent service by all hotel staff and they kept my bag for an extra hour before heading to the airport. Great experience! I’ll stay there again.

Very overrated.
Bedroom has no window, so it feels like you're in a small box. Staff were rude and unhelpful. No one to help with luggage or opening of heavy front door. Gym is tiny, and really only can be used by one person at a time. Adjustable dumbbells were broken, and barely any equipment or machines.

Service and hospitality was great - a bit slow and unconscious of the lines of guest but once greeted, the service was great. Breakfast was slim pickings and the rooms were really small especially given the price per room.
