Poor overall experience
Not a great location… very ugly and inconvenient 13 min walk from 7 train over a freezing bridge from Queens to Greenpoint. Nothing in close proximity of hotel. Desk staff is not very helpful/friendly. They told me I could check in by 2pm (earlier would be a $75 fee) when I called the night before, as I had a meeting, but when I got there they made me wait 20 mins and I was late for meeting. They also ran out of lotion all day and my suite had none… what hotel runs out of lotion?? The bathroom also was clearly not cleaned on the shelves… I took video.

I loved the room and it's art deco appearance. Everything was pretty quiet until the last day and then there was some disturbance. I don't know who but someone was, in I think the hall; speaking very loudly and sounding extremely agitated.

Great spot for those wanting a bit more of an authentic Brooklyn neighborhood experience. Food is easily accessible and close. Room was clean, it was quiet and the area is super cool with Grand Central being one stop away.

Overall great stay for a single night. The breakfast, though generally decent food, was really badly executed. No coffee most of the time, food was slow to come out. Lots of waiting and then giving up. I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast - not worth the cost.

The room was nice and cozy. Artwork, decor and overall vibe was not like big box hotels. Nice, clean towels and beddings. Would have given a 5 but there seems to be no sound proofing at all. You can hear everything from the next room and the hallway. The wood floors were nice but you can hear everybody's foot steps and luggage wheels rolling. Otherwise a very nice stay.

I love this hotel! Have stayed there multiple times. Only problem: noise that kept me from sleeping. But maybe I should have reached out to the staff in the middle of the night. Not sure that would have been welcome. But overall still the best hotel in Greenpoint! and I've stayed in 5 of them.
