This is a creatively designed property. The room is spacious by NYC standards. There are many things to like about this hotel. I would have like shelf space in the bathroom. Also, the ability to increase lightning in the sink area would help.

I'll stay here from now on!
Stayed at the High Line for the first time and I've stayed at so many NYC hotels and this is now my favorite. The location is perfect--not just because Chelsea is a great place to stay if you're looking for central location while wanting to avoid midtown like the plague, but the actual street is so pleasant and quiet at night and (obviously) right by the high line and the water. If you like charm and old buildings, you will love this one. Brick everywhere, stained glass in the stairways, high ceilings in the room. Yet the AC worked perfectly and everything was spotless. Bed was super comfy. Loved having a coffee shop and cocktail bar right in the building. The front courtyard is PERFECT. Service was great. Just overall lovely.

Charming hotel in old seminary building, room was very comfortable, comfy bed. Love the eclectic touches- rotary phone. Books, paintings, antiques. Lovely patio and courtyard, no lobby needed! Great location

The property is in a really great location right by the highlines, easy to get places and had a nice deli close by. The cafe that is part of the hotel is a really lovely place to start or end the day in a chill environment especially on a nice day. The rooms are large especially for nyc however with it being an older building noise carries and the doors shake when people close their door which if a light sleeper can be a problem.

Wonderful hotel
Super cool hotel. It's a historic hotel, and true to the integrity of the existing building. That means creaky floors and noises from floor to floor. But once you accept you're in a historic hotel, the ambience is amazing. The main floor and coffee shop is great. The patio off the back is a perfect place to chill, morning or evening. And the bed is heavenly. You literally fall into the bed and don't want to get out. Steps from the high line, and several great eating spots. Would DEFINITELY stay here again.

I loved the look of the property - Iike a quaint European small hotel. Air conditioning was not strong enough, but staff arranged to address it immediately. Price for Saturday night was over four hundred dollars; price for Sunday night was $255. Room was small but comfy. I think the overall price was too expensive for the basic amenities, but the property is lovely. The only visible staff is essentially a bellhop. No concierge. Walkable area with restaurants close by.
