Great hotel, one of best in NYC
Great hotel, our toilet didn’t work since we walked in, might be just because it’s an old plumbing. Customer service was friendly but ineffective. We had someone come to plunge the toilet but didn’t fix the problem. Overall great stay.

Good location, close to Subways and plenty of restaurants. The service is good, room is clean and with comfortable beds. Decorations is a bit old and dated, old evaluators. Overall is a good stay.

This is a beautiful old hotel. Great location. Close to many restaurants, shops and attractions. I felt safe walking around at night. The room was bigger than I expected. The bathroom was a little small. Housekeeping was great at providing towels and keeping the room clean. The bellhops were very kind and helped with our luggage. They also stored our luggage when we arrived at the hotel. We were able to check in 1 hour before our scheduled check in time. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay there again.

We liked stay at Lucerne Hotel. I especially liked the work of the staff . Minor disadvantages: slow elevators And some rooms are quite small.

the Lucerne is a lovely hotel that was gutted and rebuilt about 20 years ago. Great neighborhood with lots of restaurants around it including Nice Matin on the ground floor. Zabars is around the corner and is fun to see all the culinary delights. Very close to Central Park and the Museum of Natural History. Family oriented neighborhood. A welcome relief from mid-town.
