My wife and I had a terrific six day stay at Tru in Brooklyn. The staff here is very friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and very quiet, coffee and tea available free all day and breakfast available until 8:30am or so. The location is excellent for exploring Carroll Gardens and Park Slope. The subway is conveniently located just around the block with bicycle stands close by as well if you like Citi Bike - the quick ride to Prospect Park is highly recommended. Many shops are nearby as well. All in all we are very happy we stayed at Tru and will do so when we return to NYC.

The one negative is that it was very loud. Doors slamming all throughout the night. We were near an exit so I think that’s what all the noise was from. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay. The rooms are nice and bigger than I expected. Breakfast is usual hotel breakfast but very much appreciated. The staff were very kind. We were only here for a short period of time and only saw the surrounding neighborhood in the dark but it seemed really cute and nice. I would stay here again.

Tru by Hilton is a new property, so rooms were clean and nice but on the small side.Onsite secure parking was a plus. No in room coffee maker howerver the breakfast was good with 24/7 coffee. Breakfast space was nice with areas to sit and work. Hotel is in a good location in Brooklyn. Staff was pleasant. Would stay thewre again.

nice property! Kitchen staff didn't show up on Sat
The property was new and fresh. Good location and neighborhood was nice. The bed frame was very squeaky when turning over at night. That was not what we expected for a new property. We picked this reservation because of the free breakfast. Saturday morning the kitchen staff never showed up. So we and some guest walked to Starbucks. Not good!!

Super efficient layout for a small contemporary room design. Excellent front desk staff. Delightful breakfast area with large screen tv. Cubicles for independent work areas with tables, powered bar work area as well as multiple comfy couch & loveseats. Also a pool table & fun playful artwork across one wall. Hip uplifting sayings on the door when you enter try. Hot breakfast every day - eggs, potatoes sausage or bacon & pancakes Standard continental oatmeal, yogurt, cereals, etc Conveniently located -easy access to Park Slope Prospect Park & Barclays Center. Easy access to N&R lines. Just a few stops to Barclays Center / Atlantic for many subways to Manhattan! Go for it!
