We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The Empire State Building View was fantastic from our room which we loved waking up to! We also liked the fact the dressing area and bedroom are separate it made the room feel spacious for NYC standards. The downside to this hotel would be the confusing lifts as well as finding several hairs/ general dirt in our room when we arrived. Overall we enjoyed the stay for the location and comfy bed, however we would say this is a 3 star hotel at best.

Cute room, great view. I was told I could see the nye ball drop from this room but that wasn’t true. Even tho that was a bummer, it was a walkable distance to Times Square. A delicious pizza shop across st and a parking garage about 2-3 minutes up the street that is less than the hotels valet. I loved the esthetic. Pricey but worth it for an occasion

Great Views and Modern Rooms in a perfect location
The hotel offers amazing views of the city and the Empire State Building, which was a highlight of my stay. The location was perfect, and close to everything. The room was new and modern, with a thoughtful design—no carpets, a good division between the room and bathroom, and a comfortable sitting space. However, I wish the beds had been queen-sized instead of doubles for added comfort. Also, the cleaning service left something to be desired. While towels were replaced, essentials like coffee and tissue paper were not refilled, which was disappointing. Overall, it’s a stylish and comfortable option in NYC in an amazing location

I was really concerned after booking because of some of the reviews. I am glad I stayed. I was in the 24th floor, my view was amazing, room was clean, hot water was working perfectly fine, waited in the lobby for my car and was not freezing, it is a bit small but so are others I’ve been to. Elevators worked, ordered room service, food was good. The staff I encountered were very helpful. Overall we had a great experience. I used their Vallet Parking and additional to their $75 per night rate they do charge an extra $14 per night for a parking tax.

I felt the room I was given was not very clean. I found things on the floor that should have been cleaned up. Fingerprints on surfaces showed me it was not wiped down. The robe had trash in the pockets indicating it had not been washed. I notified the front desk after night 1 and they did replace my linens as requested but they did not remove the robe. Just gave me a new one. I do like this hotel. Great location. Great amenities. Great view. Great breakfast. Just disappointed in the cleanliness of my room.

This is an amazing hotel. It is centrally located to where you can walk to the West Village, Financial District or Central park with ease. The upstairs bar are the best views with a nightly DJ. This hotel is so close to Penn you can grab the uber shuttle to and from the airport for $18. We will be staying again!

The hotel is very clean and in a great location, the lift are very quick which is great having stayed in NYC several times . However the customer services from 2/3 key members of staff was nothing short the rude and abrupt made the stay quite uncomfortable and unpleasant at times sadly

I had higher expectations for the Virgin hotel, the rooms were bang average definitely needed a lick of paint. Think I would have gotten better service and quality from a cheaper hotel! Staff were good when checking in but couldn’t have cared less when checking out. Didn’t ask if the stay was good, just took the cards and said bye. Also, minor note but when I have stayed for a birthday hotels in the past have noticed this and popped a birthday message or something in the room. None of this at Virgin. The housekeeping was awful, we kept the room tidy but they moved loads of our stuff and didn’t properly clean the room which was very noticeable. Save your money and find somewhere cheaper!!
