Newark Townhouse 2 Miles from Downtown
First, I have to say how fabulous the owner was. He was quick to respond to email and text messages with any questions or concerns I had. I was in Newark for a Tony Robbins event at the Prudential Center downtown. The townhouse was only 2 miles away from the center.
Theron let me drop off my luggage before check-in so I could do the necessary registration for the event. I was very grateful.
The place was clean and very simple. The best part was the bed. I believe it was a Tempurpedic mattress and pillows. I slept like a baby.
The kitchen was okay with what was provided. There are dishes, pots, and silverware. A few cooking utensils. Fortunately for me, I had brought my food due to the hour I would be returning in the evenings. Most of it was microwaved food. The coffee machine is a Keurig. If you are planning on bringing coffee, you will need K-cups. I brought regular coffee and did not use the Keurig. Theron graciously let me drink the instant coffee that was in the kitchen.
The townhouse is a corner unit. I was surprised how much traffic there was in the morning and evening. For the most part, it was quiet. But if anyone was outside, you could hear them talking.
The TV in the great room is nice and large. There were also TVs in the front room and bedroom. The front room is great for a computer setup.
The house has old-fashioned upright floor radiators. They heated the house nicely. Very charming.
The house worked out well for me while I was in Newark. Thank you Theron!
