This is the worst hotel I have ever seen! Roaches everywhere, trash can overflowing in hallway, sheets dirty, and has a terrible odor. I walked down to management to get some Lysol spray for the room. Drove to family dollar for some roach spray. Please do not stay here!!!!!!

This place was very disappointing! Was a very sketchy area, and the hotel is in deep decline. I travel a lot, I'm never scared and I'm usually by myself - this is about the only place I've been that I did not feel comfortable being there alone.

I need to speak with someone for a refund because I left it was actually the worst place I’ve ever been to. I literally ran out of there due to the order and dirty carpeting in the hallways. This place should be closed immediately.

Decent price and location, close to EWR. Hotel lobby has terrible smell, parking is well lit but feel unsafe. Non-smoking room still have smoke hint. Feel dirty. Don’t stay here if you travel alone.

I didn't even want to post a review but reading the others set me off! Booking this room saved my family's butts. Our flight was cancelled so it was either this, spend over $200 for another, or stay at Newport Airport for 15 hours and sleep in a chair. Booked a taxi at the airport, and front desk got us a ride at check-out. Hotel is being renovated so there were remnants of construction in the hallways. WHO gives a crap! The beds were clean, comfortable, the bathroom was new with attractive tile and marble vanity. shower was fine! It is what it is and not perfect! But, unless you're vacationing to East Orange New Jersey, apparently like the "prissy" mother/daughter reviewers were, this hotel is very economical and perfect for a one or two night stay. If you need a simple room quickly and cheaply, this is the place. Perfect for business travelers and those stuck in a long layover. Yes, there is bullet proof glass on the front desk with a turnstile opening to give and retrieve stuff. So what? This is the only alternative to having to put the garage style security doors on, like all of the other businesses in New York and New Jersey use. The other reviewers need to get out of their holes and get out more. If anything, the glass keeps would-be thieves from trying to rob the place. So, it's like a "repellent and you should appreciate that fact that it's the least likely to be robbed because of that! Don't let the other reviews stop you from staying. The staff and guests are great!

The hotel and property is in poor condition. It needs upkeep and can be kept cleaner. For a one night stay just for sleeping and leaving early, it worked fine. However will not stay there again.

This place was NOTHING like the reviews or the pictures posted. It was absolutely disgusting, dirty, and smelled so bad. There were rooms with visible trash piled up inside of them. The are it’s in also is not safe. Worst experience of my life and I will NEVER book through Expedia again. The staff was as disgusting as the building.

This was the worst staying in a hotel in my life! Shower broken. No side table light. No internet. The owner of this place should be in prison. In fact the hotel.com host a place like this! Hotel.com should be ashamed!!!! This hotel should NOT be OPERATING!! DO NOT BOOK!!!
