We arrived at the property to check in at the front desk where the agent told us the property manager canceled our reservation because it wasn’t paid for but we can get the same room for double the price we originally booked it for on Travelocity. I asked for the manager she said they weren’t there and couldn’t be reached. I told her I was going to call Travelocity to report the incident. Keep in mind our reservations were still showing confirmed on Travelocity. While trying to contact Travelocity another couple were told the same thing as we were. We then realized that this was a scam by the hotel. As soon as we started speaking with Travelocity the agent called us back and said we can offer you a discounted rate which was the same rate Travelocity confirmed for us. During our stay while waiting on our Lyft we witnessed numerous guest get told the same line about the manager canceling the reservations. Travelocity/Expedia should remove this hotel from their site

Ya’ll need to do something about the roaches. I was eating and walked away from my plate for a min and two roaches crawled on my food. Couldn’t even eat anything unless it was outside the room because soon as I heat food up they come out like it was a party!

The stay was worth it only because of the restaurant that is on site(Exit12). However the front desk employee was a little condescending when explaining something that I had never had to do. I’m fine with change as I have stayed at this property before. But when you ask for something I cannot provide but have been able to utilise Apple Pay with my previous stays. Please don’t talk down to me and make me feel as I’m uneducated. Again, I’m ok with following protocol and policies. Just learn how to respect and talk to guest.

DO NOT BOOK!!! 0/10 Do not recommend. The hotel itself is in bad condition. It's old, falling apart and not cleaned well, but the worst part is the "customer service". I arrived in NJ in an early flight and asked if it was possible to check in early, the receptionist says, no, that's not possible...check-in starts at 3pm. I waited in the lobby as I had nowhere to go at the time. A few hours later, before 3 pm, the receptionist then gives a room to another group who had also been waiting but came in over AN HOUR after I did. The 2 receptionist at the desk were the most rude individuals in customer service I've ever seen, from the nasty stares, eye roll and the constant code switching to Jamaican patois to talk badly about customers and other personal matters. The front desk receptionist talked more about massages, shopping and other crap and paid no attention at all to customers standing waiting in the lobby right in front of her. And don't even ask to speak to a manager! The manager and both receptionists are Jamaican and all they do is swito talking in Jamaican to talk crap instead of taking care of customers. None of these women belong in customer service positions. I really wish I didn't make the last minute decision to stay here. Worst part of my trip
