We booked this property primarily because of 2 reasons. (1) close to Montclair downtown and (2) the pool. Planned to use the pool in the afternoon then head out for an early dinner before catching a show at the Wellmont. Pool was not available for some reason that Friday afternoon and it was disappointing. It would have been great if that was announced/mentioned and I have booked elsewhere. For $300/night pool maintenance should’ve been at a time when it was not supposedly scheduled to open. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. But again I could’ve paid a lot less for other properties with no pool and equally good staff and cleanliness.

I had a problem with the bathtub I asked for. A technician came butdid not manage to solve the problem and I could not fill up the bathtub. Such a thing can happen anywhere especially in a three star poorly kept hotel. What was really not okey was the way, the tone and the content of the way they handled the issue. The clerck and even the manager were disrespectful, impertinent and did nothing to compensate. They offered me 500 bonvoy points which I have nothing to do with them or a downgrade. I of course gave up and eill never come back again to this hotel and shame on Marriot for employing such people.

Had stayed here before. Although the hotel advertises no pets (except when medically necessary) the front desk says they are "pet friendly." Which explained the barking dog. Thin walls between rooms meant conversations in next room could be heard well after midnight. Breakfast was good, place is well kept, but too bad about the unnecessary noise. And please be up front about your policies.

We had a family of 4 adults in our suite. No pillows or blanket were provided for the pullout bed..only 3 bath towels ..requests made to front desk ..we were told if they had someone to deliver them.. never got pillows, blanket or towels .. Will never stay there again !

We were given a room with a roll in shower. The water splashed all over the floor so I had to dry the floor each time we used the shower. That’s my only complaint. Other than that, the facility was beautiful, in a great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
