Dark depressing room
Friendly welcome by Dave. Very dark depressing room. Not to my taste at all. Lighting wasn't great, very dark near where the kettle was, made it hard to see. But then a very harsh lighting on the bathroom. Weird rugs on the floor that didn't look very clean. They also don't start breakfast service until 8am which is too late for business people. I wouldn't stay again.

Lovely stay
Comfortable accommodation, very friendly helpful staff and lovely restaurant with great menu, delicious food, good value but clearly cooked by a proper chef. Good vegetarian and vegan options.

Excellent service and great food.
Excellent service and food of a high standard. Good selection of really good beers. Room comfortable but could do with a desk and chair for business travellers. Highly recommended!
