We’ve stayed at Mountain Edge many times and enjoy our stay every time. The rooms are excellent - a bit dated, but in a ski lodge kind of way which we like, and much prefer over newer 3-star hotel style removals), and very quiet, our room this stay was a few doors down from the gaa peep even with lots of kids around

This is the first place I stayed in that actually charged 16 dollars per day extra for the pool and breakfast yet it says breakfast was included. Also, my room was freezing because of a thermostat issue. They fix this on the last day I was there. With that said, the suite was very nice with a fireplace and large rooms and full kitchen. These rooms were above and beyond. Just too bad about the extra charge each day and the breakfast was really just continental not full breakfast.

Hot tub didn’t have hot water (which sucks after skiing all day), one of the bedrooms had the wind whipping through the windows so hard it was freezing (ended up sleeping out on the couch). One small bar of soap and small tube of shampoo was all that was provided.

Pleasantly surprised with how nice this hotel is! Not being familiar with the area, We did a last minute booking so the rates were much lower than was expected for fall foliage, so I was not sure what I was walking into, but Let me tell you it’s our new getaway! Staff was so kind and friendly, very clean overall, not just the room, it smells fresh everywhere we went, breakfast was a bonus! Loved the kid friendly lounge areas as my kiddos get bored in the room. Just a great overall experience! Pool area and game room, and the local pizza place Ziggys was so good!! Across the street is a pub that we will try next time, as we have been to their sister location an always a great meal there as well.
