Wardrobe placed in the most awkward of places, in the all way which made access difficult. Thankfully we were only there for one night. Room was uncomfortably hot and no option to turn temperature down.

Room clean and inviting. Check-in staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming - a real credit to the hotel. This was my first stay at The County but it will be my first choice for future trips.

Not so good and very bad services was electric cutoff I told them they said the card not charged but still not light working and no one coming to fix really bad and not comfortable mattresses also the room was very hot and we couldn’t put in low hot. Was rubbish.

The staff were superb, friendly, helpful, welcoming, and they went out of their way to ensure that I had a pleasurable experience. I stayed in the Penthouse which didn't have a charging point for my toothbrush or shaver in the bathroom, and the coffee served at breakfast was terrible! Besides these two minor setbacks, the hotel is in a great location in the city centre opposite the train station, albeit the decor of the hotel is rather old but it does have a certain charm about it.
