The building design is original & I think very successful.I enjoyed the curves in the building being reflected in the furnishings. The position is amazing. Being next to City Hall & opposite Civic Park, it was a lively scene with several events taking place while we were there. Twice we entertained visitors, & were grateful to the staff for taking them & us up to the restaurant to show them the view, although the floor was officially closed at those times. It is a short walk to the harbour & to Darby St, so we were able to get simple meals when we didn't want the bigger offerings from the hotel, & we could enjoy the ambience in those places.

We booked in and there was a band playing next door it was so loud we couldn’t here even here the TV. So we decided to go up to the bar and restaurant on to of the chrysalbrook only to find out it was close I had made enquirer before booking and no mention of it being close or limited hours
