The room was small and bathroom even smaller. Toilet wouldnt flush and the water kept running in the toilet. Hard to sleep with that running all night.

Good value but a bit noisy for light sleeper

Good value for money, on top of the pub with live music which you can hear, thin windows and walls so a bit noisy, no problem if you aren’t a light sleeper. Bed was comfy, walls were grotty but overall ok.

Decent for one night stay

The A/C struggled to keep the room cool and desperately needs a service. Neither swing function worked so cool air hit one part of the room and the ceiling fan only had one low speed and didn't do a great job of moving the air. The room was insulated from the noise of the street and pub which was a relief. It wasn't too bad for one night but I wouldn't do a multi-night stay.

When I made my reservation, I didn't know this hotel was one of the historic buildings in Hamilton. I'm amazed by the traditional layout design in the pub and dining area and the modern upgrades in the accommodation.
