Value for money

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The dinner we ate was good and reasonably priced. However the price for the room was way too expensive, and the fact that breakfast was not included in that high price was very disappointing. Not much value for money on that front.

Ok but noisy early morning

Good check in experience and the suite was nice clean and a good size. I didn’t realise the heating wasn’t working properly as I just dumped my bag and went out. It was really cold and i was too tired to report it. I’m sure the staff would have sorted it out. The main issue was the noise of trains which started at 6am and seemed to be every 10mins. The hotel is quite dated but clean but has very little wifi coverage and the cellular signal is poor on EE and O2 a part from in the restaurant area. The breakfast was ok but no cooked breakfast till 8am Also the carpet is awful when you’ve had a drink 😂

Solo break in Newcastle

I am very pleased with my stay at the hotel. The room is comfortable and very spacious, with large windows offering a beautiful view of the river. The refrigerator was also useful. I will gladly come back here again.

Dont do ajoining room

Having stayed at the Copthorne many times before it is a good hotel for what you pay and the breakfasts are really good. On the downside of this visit we were given an ajoining room and i'll just say if you have loud neighbours sleep is a non starter
