No kettle. Reception did not tell me how to switch lights on. So had to go downstairs to ask about that. Then half hr trying to get tv on. Guy from reception tuned it in but still no tv channels. Hardly any channels in the morning. Can i suggest you ask customers to reset tv after using firestix etc. I've better things to do then try to tune in a tv

Basic but clean, annoying aircon.
The room is basic but clean and comfortable. The only complaint i had is that i was unable to sleep due to being unable to turn the aircon off so all night it was turning itself on & off.

I’ve used this chain a bit in the past but will not be back, the pillows seem to be getting thinner and thinner the main function of a hotel is to sleep but unfortunately you will struggle or wake up with the worst back and neck pain

I am really pleased with the easyHotel Newcastle, very surprised as to how excellent it was. Really great staff, pleasant and warm welcome at reception, very accommodating from the start and made the stay! Wish all easyHotels would be as good as this one. The whole experience was great, really nice warning entrance, and everywhere was really clean and as i say far exceeded my expectations. Planning to return there again soon, really great. The location is brilliant as well.

Very depressing, oppressive and sterile room like a cell, damage to walls. Waited ten mins for someone to arrive to check me in. Electric kept going off so had to get ready in the morning by the light of my phone torch. Mildly preferable to sleeping on the street but for what is essentially a bed in a cupboard and the facilities/quality on offer it should be a maximum of £20 per night. Staff were all friendly at least and the bed was pretty comfy.

For a one night stay probably fine,basic room with tv,can be quite noisy from other guests trampling about and flushing toilets/showers. What I will say is the shower/wash basin/toilet were immaculately clean. Recommended.

Dirty, tiny rooms, beds are hard, air conditioning didn’t work, the electricity is controlled by key and that never worked! We had to constantly go downstairs to have them override the key and turn on lights. One side of the room was so low that you had to roll to the other side of the bed to stand up or get dressed. I was promised daily that they’d change my room to what I had reserved and it never happened. After a few sweaty, sleepless nights, my wife and I checked out and went to another hotel that was cheaper, cleaner, and delivered on every promise.

It was a simple hotel but very nice and clean and had what was needed especially as I was there for the Great North Run. Would have been good to have got aome recommendations for food as no onsite restaurant so would have been good to hear where was good for breakfast and evening meals.

Professional and friendly staff. Nice rooms for affordable stay. Just needed somewhere to overnight before going for surgery. Helpful when needed a taxi which they organised for me.
