reception staff always friendly, rooms are as you would expect for a budget hotel, clean but on the verge of getting a little tired in some areas. i have stayed here numerous times and never had a bad stay. breakfast is OK. would and am staying again.

A long weekend with the family. The location was ideal for all our needs. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The only negative was limited plug sockets in the room (2). Everything else was perfect.

Had a very good stay and the breakfast was excellent. The room was roomy and comfortable, though the condensation on the windows was very bad and needs attention. East access to all roads and 5 mins from the Metro Centre.

Friendly and very welcoming
Lovely Holiday Inn Express, great, friendly staff, plentiful breakfast. As with a lot of hotels a frustrating lack of power outlets next to the bed plus we had a small leak in the shower but otherwise a most enjoyable stay. Great location.
